Meet Your Hosts: Paolo & Laura
We’re Paolo and Laura – your dedicated hosts and, truly, your Italian family. Paolo, an expert in IT, specializing in ERP systems, finds his real passion in culinary arts (he even owned and managed a restaurant!) and craft beer brewing. Laura, a former Marketing Specialist from Coca-Cola, brings her global insights and an innate gift for warm hospitality to every guest.
In the years just before 2017, our two wonderful children, Mattia and Anna Maria, arrived. With them, and feeling a little "alone" without other adults to share our journey, we realized it was time to embrace a slower pace of life and open our home to travelers like you. Laura was actually the spark that brought Casa San Giorgio to life in 2017! And it’s been the best decision we’ve ever made.
With nearly a decade as Superhosts on another platform, we've welcomed guests from every corner of the globe – many of whom have become lifelong friends.
We personally greet every guest, and with both of us speaking fluent English, it's easy to interact, share invaluable local tips, and ensure you have everything you need for a memorable stay.

Let us tell you a little bit about ourselves. Laura, with her strong background in marketing, spent several years as a Marketing Specialist for big multinational companies, including Coca-Cola. But her true dream has always been to create a place where guests from all over the world could feel completely at home. She's a passionate traveler with a clear vision, and honestly, she's the driving force that made Casa San Giorgio a reality. She's definitely the true spark here!
Then there's me, Paolo. I own a software company, and I'm also the CFO of my own firm, which specializes in ERP software. Beyond the tech world, my biggest passion is cooking; I even managed my own restaurant for a while! And if you're lucky, you might even get to taste one of my craft beers – I'm a home brewer, and I carefully create them right here.
We both speak fluent English, so communication will be absolutely seamless throughout your stay.
We're also proud parents to two wonderful children, aged 10 and 8. It was actually after they were born that we truly realized how essential traveling is for staying connected with the world. We made a conscious decision to slow down our pace of life, and it's been such a beautiful journey, enriching our lives and our home with incredible new experiences and encounters.
