About this property
Orange Rose Cottage - Two Bedroom House, Sleeps 3
Offering cosy, fresh and relaxing accommodation for up to three guests, this delightful cottage has been thoughtfully updated to make an ideal holiday retreat for couples and smaller families. The property lies in the charming West Yorkshire village of East Morton, midway between the bustling market towns of Keighley (4 miles) and Bingley (3 miles), each with a range of great pubs and shops. Immediately to the north is the beautiful Ilkley Moor (3 miles), offering tranquil walks and bike trails. Also close by are the Twelve Apostles Stone Circle, East Riddlesden Hall, the St Ives Estate and Cliffe Castle Museum, all within 4 miles. Haworth (8 miles), at the heart of Bronte country, is home to the Bronte Parsonage Museum and an array of delightful restaurants and cafes along its cobbled streets.
Entering this cheerful and friendly cottage, you will step immediately into the fresh, light and welcoming lounge/diner. With wooden flooring, a Smart TV and ample seating, the inviting lounge is an ideal space for you to curl up in front of the gas wood burner-effect fire after a great day out exploring a stunning part of the unforgettable Yorkshire countryside. This bright and comfortable room also features a useful dining table on one side. Exploring this relaxing property further, the ground floor features a fully equipped and stylishly arranged galley kitchen with plenty of storage space. A flight of glass-balustraded stairs leads up from the lounge to the first floor, where you will find a refreshing shower room and a choice of two cheery bedrooms: a cosy single and a delightful king-size room with a beamed and vaulted ceiling.
Stepping outside, there’s a quiet courtyard with garden furniture, offering a peaceful spot for a morning coffee. On-street parking is available.
