I’m originally from Birmingham and I’ve always loved the mix of history and creativity in this city, especially in Digbeth — it’s one of my favourite places! When I’m not hosting, I enjoy exploring local independent cafés, visiting art galleries, and discovering new places to eat around the area.

I love being a host because I get to meet people from all over the world and share what makes this neighbourhood so special. I take pride in making sure guests feel comfortable and at home — I’m always happy to share tips on the best hidden gems, whether that’s a unique jeweller, a cosy coffee spot, or a local event happening nearby.

I chose this area because it truly feels like the perfect blend of local charm and everyday convenience. The neighborhood has a welcoming, laid-back vibe — you’ll see neighbors greeting each other, small local shops with friendly owners, and leafy streets that invite you to take a leisurely stroll.

One of my favorite things about this area is how close you are to everything, yet it still feels peaceful and safe. In just a few minutes, you can walk to cozy cafés, family-run restaurants, and lively markets full of fresh produce and handmade goods. There’s a beautiful park nearby too — perfect for morning jogs or unwinding with a book under the trees.

I also love how connected this spot is. Public transport links make it easy to explore the city’s best attractions, but when you return home, you feel like you’re in your own little sanctuary away from the busy crowds.
