With five bedrooms, this chic retreat is perfect for large families or groups of friends looking for a spacious home-away-from-home in Northumberland, where you can celebrate a special occasion together. Spend happy days exploring Warkworth Castle, river walks, village, pubs, restaurants and beach. Stroll around the harbour at nearby Amble (2 miles), or set off to discover the sweeping dunes and sandy shoreline at Alnmouth (5 miles). Alternatively, step back in time at Alnwick Castle and Gardens (8 miles), which is renowned for its grand architecture and landscaped grounds. You may even recognise it from the Harry Potter films.
Pull up in your private parking area (there’s room for up to five cars) and make your way through the cottage’s utility room – the perfect place to unload. Head into the sleek, contemporary kitchen where you'll find everything you need to rustle up a range of meals and drinks. A glazed door takes you across the hallway into the spacious open-plan lounge/dining area, which is bathed in beautiful natural light from the large windows. This sociable space boasts high ceilings and exposed beams that beautifully complement the farmhouse-style decor. When it’s time to eat, you can all sit together at the large wooden dining table. Afterwards, cosy up in front of the eco-friendly bio-ethanol liquid-fuelled fire to watch a movie on Smart TV. At bedtime, you’ll find three beautifully-styled bedrooms down the hallway – a spacious king-size, a charming twin and a double. There’s also a sleek shower room on the same level and an additional WC. Head upstairs and you’ll find two more stylish bedrooms – one king-size with an en-suite shower room, and a super-king-size.
