Located just steps from Largo da Trindade, it sits at the crossroads of two vibrant neighborhoods: the elegant Chiado and the buzzing Bairro Alto.

The apartment is perched at the top of Calçada do Duque, a picturesque pedestrian street with traditional Portuguese cobblestones, lined with inviting restaurants, bars, and terraces.

From here, enjoy breathtaking views over the city as you stroll toward your destination. While the historic charm of the area means stairs to climb, the journey is part of the adventure!

Once at the building, a final ascent up narrow, steep wooden stairs leads to your cozy retreat.

The apartment retains many of its original features, including warm wooden floors and a unique vaulted ceiling in the kitchen, offering a touch of historic character.

- Bedroom: Rest in a comfortable double bed, complete with a convenient laptop stand for working or planning your next adventure. A built-in wardrobe provides storage.

- Living Room: Unwind on the cozy sofa while catching up on your favorite shows on the TV. Though the living area is windowless, its snug ambiance is ideal for relaxing after a day of exploring.

- Kitchen: Small but fully equipped, the kitchen has everything you need—stove, tabletop oven, microwave, and washing machine—along with a dining table for enjoying your meals.

- Bathroom: Compact yet functional, the bathroom features a shower. To minimize humidity, we recommend keeping the door open whenever possible and ventilating the apartment frequently. Please note that the bathroom ceiling is low, which may be uncomfortable for taller guests (ceiling height: 1.75m; shower cabin height: 1.71m).

- Ventilation Tips: To keep the space fresh, we recommend airing it out regularly during your stay.

￫ The property is Self-Catered. Complimentary basic items are provided for your arrival, including first-day toiletries, toilet paper, etc. These items are offered on a welcome basis only - replacements or re-fills are not provided.

￫ Bed and bath linen are provided according to the number of guests confirmed in the reservation. For stays longer than 7 nights, additional bed and bath linen will be provided for free at the check-in.

￫ The Cleaning Fee included in your reservation covers the check-out cleaning only. Extra cleanings or fresh linens can be requested during your stay and are subject to an extra fee - these requests must be done with at least 24 hours in advance.

￫ Check-in time starts at 15:00 and check-out must be done until 11:00(am). Before leaving, please place the keys inside the lockbox.

￫ During the stay, the guest is responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of the property's keys. Please avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. In the event that a specialized technician is needed for door opening or in case of damage to the key and/or lock, the costs associated with this service will be the responsibility of the guest. In case of key loss, a penalty will be applied.

￫ Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee.

￫ The property is equipped with noise decibel monitoring sensors. This system performs advanced analysis while ensuring the privacy of our guests, as no cameras are used, and no sound is recorded. Only noise levels are measured, thus guaranteeing the tranquility and comfort of everyone during their stay.

￫ For stays equal to or longer than 28 days, monthly utilities bills exceeding €150 will be charged separately. By making the reservation, the guest agrees to these terms.

CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT.:

- Please confirm your check-in time as soon as possible so we can arrange everything specially for you.

- Flexible check-in and check-out are available upon request, but only if the property is available. These requests must be done in advance.


CLEANING and LAUNDRY.:

- Bedding Sets and Towels are provided according with the number of guests.

- The Cleaning Fee covers the check-in/check-out cleaning only.

- For longer stays it's possible to arrange extra cleanings (with an additional cost).

- For stays longer than 7 nights, extra linen will be provided.

- The apartment is always cleaned by a professional cleaning service. If there's something that doesn't meet your standards, please contact us.


OTHER RULES.:

- Make sure you are up-to-date on travel restrictions/requirements. We may ask for additional documentation according to government guidelines.

- Children’s High Chair and Baby Crib available by request (extra cost of 25€).

- The silent period in Portugal is between 22h00 and 08h00, and night rest period must be respected. The apartment is in a residential area and you should be aware that social events and other activities that might disturb the neighbours are prohibited.

- As a city in continuous modernization, renovation works may occur in the vicinity of the building without prior notice. We would also like to remind you that the property is located in a residential building, where conservation or renovation works may take place during your stay.
