The Carriage Ely is a truly distinctive and meticulously restored GWR train carriage located in the Cambridgeshire countryside situated on a working farm. We are close to RSPB reserves and the wildfowl and wetland trust with countryside and river walks on our doorstep. We have private covered hot tubs for guests exclusive use.
Despite its tranquil rural setting we have excellent pubs a few minutes drive away and Ely City less than 10 minutes, with its stunning Cathedral, lovely cafes, river and great antique shops. Thursday and Saturday are market days in the city centre.
We have two secluded and luxurious retreats, exclusively for adults. The Carriage Ely has comfy king size beds and is equipped with a kitchenette and train carriage dining tables. Towels, robes and bedding provided.
A sofa bed for 1 extra guest is available in Penzance.
A small/medium dog is welcome in Paddington, so please check our other listing.
