In late January and February, the woods feature charming drifts of snowdrops followed by daffodils and in April and May the hue turns to purple with acres of bluebells.
There is oodles of wildlife to spot on the Estate from roe deer and hares to barn owls, woodpeckers and most importantly, this area is one of the last bastions of the red squirrel.
Enjoy walking on our network of wonderful woodland walks and coastal paths around Corsewall Estate or explore the Galloway coastline, which offers an abundance of sandy beaches and rocky coves.
Port Beg is within 1 mile of High Clachan Farmhouse and Lady Bay can be accessed via the road. Both beaches are perfect for picnics, swimming and paddle boarding. Walking, golf, sea and freshwater fishing, pony trekking, water sports and cycling are all available nearby. There are several beautiful gardens to visit including Logan Botanic Garden, Glenwhan and Castle Kennedy Gardens which benefit from the mild climate of the Gulf Stream. Shop and pub ½ mile, restaurant 4 miles.
