Cabaña moderna y tradicional en Krokskogen

Surrounded by forest, you'll find this cozy cabin in the heart of Krokskogen in Oslomarka. The cabin is located approx. 1 km from the Ski Association's cabin at Løvlia, which serves cinnamon buns in summer and winter. Here, traditional elements meet modern design choices, which together provide a cozy atmosphere at the cabin. Take the whole family on a cabin trip near the city, enjoy each other's company and let the peace and quiet sink in. You can get here by ski or bike, otherwise the travel time is about 60 minutes from central Oslo by car.



Inside the cabin, you'll be greeted by the beautiful light from the large windows, which really accentuates the fine wood materials in the cabin and creates a light and airy atmosphere. There's no water or electricity, but there are solar panels so you have light, a well-functioning fridge, a gas stove and a generator that runs a separate hydrant in the area. The host is also happy to provide either heating and a fire in the fireplace, or guidance over the phone.



Enjoy a hot bath under the stars in the wood-fired hot tub outside the cabin. In the summer, there are nearby idyllic ponds that are perfect for cooling off.



The area around the cabin offers many activities all year round, and is a snowy and safe cross-country skiing paradise in winter and a place for great bike rides in summer. In summer, you can also swim and sunbathe at Stubdalstjern or Damtjern close to the cabin. Head to one of the highest peaks in Krokskogen, Gyrihaugen, or visit the Instagram-friendly and spectacular Mørkgonga and be captivated by the fantastic views. The feeling at the cabin is one of being completely alone in the woods with no disturbances other than birds chirping, but the center of Hønefoss or Oslo is only a short distance away.
