The home was build in 1952 and is regarded as perhaps the best example of Midcentury Modern architecture in the Twin Cities, with amazing stonework inside and out, a huge stone patio, cedar siding and a flowing, Prairie School floor plan that contains much of the feel of the original home with great, modern updates. This home was the lifelong dream of a late business executive and his art-historian wife, built in 1952 with no expense spared. It's a true one-of-a-kind, built by a prominent figure in the Twin Cities Midcentury architectural world who studied with Frank Lloyd Wright. Its stone floors and walls flow from the inside out. Its floor-to-ceiling windows and in-floor and in-ceiling heat were ground breaking. It is filled with art and great furniture but is still very much a fun and relaxing place to be. It will only be rented out for the Super Bowl, so grab it!
