All four of our identical ground floor condos (we live on the 2nd floor) rotate throughout the day to showcase a variety of rolling farm, beach, & ocean views – including Rustico Harbour, PEI’s North shore, & the red sand cliffs. This unique feature ensures that you will capture all the wonderful sights PEI has to offer!

Join us on certain days during the week for a basement tour to see how the mechanics, plumbing, platform, & motors turn the house for only 15 cents/rotation!

Spectacular views, spectacular hosts, cant' wait to come back

Was not sure what to expect after a couple hiccups with booking, but very pleased we made the effort. For days and days after we bragged about how great this place and its owners are. You will be blown away at how large and clean and friendly this place is. And the views are incredible. I hope to come back over and over again.

Fantastic location

The condo is beautiful and the location is amazing. Loved the neighbourhood as it is very close to Cavendish Beach. The showerhead and the bathroom is awesome.

Fantastic Place to Stay, Friendly Hosts. Review of Canada's Rotating House - Around the Sea Pending review Upon arrival, the cleanliness of the condo was amazing. The place was immaculate. The attention to detail was almost mind blowing. My partner and I booked 2 nights in the winter season (Great for some nights in, would probably be even more fun in the summer!) When booking, I thought the rotation of the condo would lose its charm quickly. To my surprise it didn't! I found myself looking out at the street one hour, going to watch TV for a bit then looking out again and seeing the ocean. A neat experience to say the least. The bed was extremely comfy, and for someone who doesn't get a very good sleep away from home, I slept like a baby. Some things I wondered before going... Can you feel it rotate? I personally couldn't. You can see it rotate just not feel it. Will it rotate even in bad weather? It appears so! We had snow the day we arrived and to my surprise it was still rotating! Would all kitchenware be provided? Yes! Anything you'd need to cook is included. (Nightmares from a stay at a different trip had me wondering this.) As for accessibility, it is accessible with ramps. However if you are in a wheelchair there are small-medium lips to get into the door and shower. Shower has handrail also. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay on PEI or are just looking for a little staycation. Thank you to the host for an awesome stay!

Having grown up in Cavendish every summer since he was a boy, Steve Arnold's love of the area and family brought him back after living in Montreal, Toronto, and Sydney Australia.

It was in Australia that he met Mr. Luke Everingham, owner/builder of the original Everingham Rotating House and decided that he wanted to build a similer house on the North Shore of PEI overlooking the beach.

in 2013 Steve & his wife Stephanie completed the rotating 2 level, 5000 sq ft Deltec home which features four self-contained luxury condos on the ground floor available for short or long term rental.

Tour of Canada's Rotating House - Come tour the 3000sqf specially designed, engineered, round basement supporting the 30 ton ROTATING “spider web” of Newcastle Australian steel above your head, upon which the entire house sits to overlook the North Rustico National Park beach cliffs. Watch a 10 min video about the history of rotating houses, including a time-lapse video of Around the Sea being built in the summer of 2012 and then come upstairs to the 200 ft deck surrounding the house for complimentary cookies & lemonade to view the spectacular view over the beach while the house is rotating!
