The place is as stated. Fantastic place in a good location. Could not properly use the media offerings because it wasn't clear how to use. Tried the 'manual', and contacted the owner. He said you just have to play with the remote. Yes, tried that, but couldn't figure it out. As a foreiner, it was really tricky. I didn't appreciate the response from the owner and couldn't use the tv's or stereo system during my entire stay.
And, on a small note as a frequent traveler, please at least have some water available to drink for your guests. It will show the smallest of hospitality. We arrived on a holiday and everything was closed. We had to walk around to find water at night in a new city downtown, That's my minor rant.
This apartment is located in the heart of the historic district. There are lots of things to do within walking distance with plenty of restaurants nearby.
This is a beautifully-designed space in a very convenient location. It was a pleasure to come home to the pristine interior and big windows after a busy day in CDMX. The location is at the edge of the busy part of Centro Historico, at the intersection of two relatively minor streets, so it is quieter than a lot of places in this very noisy city. The shower was surprisingly good and the kitchen had the basics. Good dinners and fun drinks were a short walk away. Belles Artes metro stop is about 4 blocks away, with a lovely park just beyond. We never met the host, but our contact was very responsive via the VRBO messaging system and there is a guard 24/7 at the front entrance. Highly recommended!
The apartment is in a renovated building. It is a corner unit with lots of light and a well-organized space.. It has a compact, integrated-design kitchen with a nice fridge, microwave, an oven, a beautiful coffee machine, and a large-size, user-friendly dining table.. The king-size bed is super-comfortable.. Security personnel are friendly and Osvaldo, the "maintenance"/check-in person was always very helpful.. The electronic lock was not working (off) and we (2 people) only received 1 key.. It would have been nice to exit/enter separately..
Overall, this is a property that was crafted with love, and I would highly recommend anyone willing to be overwhelmed by beautiful Mexico City to stay here.. I would also add that that apartment is a Great Value for the very reasonable cost.
