Spacious gîte, very friendly and accommodating host. The flat is spacious and the kitched well-equipped. The furniture (of which there is a lot!) is 50/50 old, heavy wood chests/wardrobes/chairs and cheap/rickety ikea items. Note that the descriptions says it has air condition - it does not, it has electric fansTwo large outdoor areas with garden furniture (that could do with a clean) and barbecue equipment. The house is withing walking distance of a very good boulangerie and an Intermarché. A bit longer stroll to the beach, but lots of parking available there.Mme Renty is very friendly and gave us many good tips about the area and how to get around.

Bad Holiday Experience

The Property Owner lives in the Basement Apartment and she can enter your Holiday Apartment at any time. In fact when we were away she regularly entered our holiday apartment. The rooms had a damp and old smell but the Owner instructed us not to open any windows in order to keep the apartment warm. When I left the property the Owner regularly entered the apartment to close the bathroom window and bedroom doors. The apartment is dull and requires repainted and refreshed. It has a front and back garden that you can use BUT the Owners apartment windows look directly onto both gardens. Therefore, you cannot enjoy a fully relaxing holiday. If you require the Property Owner to supervise you day and night then this apartment is for you!!

C'est la première fois en 15 ans que je vois des locataires aussi peu soigneux... J'ai dû laver toutes les alèses à la javel ! Je suis entré seulement 1 fois pour fermer les fenêtres restées grandes ouvertes avec le chauffage (en plein mois de décembre), alors qu'il y a le système oscillo-battant. Le parking, le jardin, la terrasse, le barbecue et la plancha sont communs. Jusque là, tous mes autres vacanciers ne s'en sont jamais plaints au contraire..

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans cette maison. La propriétaire est très accueillante, chaleureuse et disponible. Le logement est spacieux et confortable, les lits sont excellents et la cuisine est très bien équipée. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la petite table pour deux dans la chambre, avec une vue magnifique, où nous avons pris tous nos repas.En revanche, nous avons été déçus par l'espace extérieur. Les photos de l'annonce mettent en valeur un très beau jardin, mais elles ne montrent pas clairement que celui-ci se trouve derrière la maison et qu'il est accessible uniquement par un escalier assez raide, sans rampe. Cela peut être difficile pour certaines personnes.De plus, la seule porte d'entrée de la propriétaire donne directement sur ce jardin. Nous avons compris à notre arrivée que cet espace était donc partagé entre les hôtes et la propriétaire. Si cela avait été clairement indiqué dans l'annonce, nous n'aurions probablement pas choisi ce logement.Nous avons donc utilisé l'espace situé devant la maison. Il était tout à fait fonctionnel, mais il est exposé au bruit de la circulation et ne dispose pas de barbecue. L'expérience est donc très différente de celle que les photos du jardin laissent imaginer.Donc nous recommandons ce logement pour son confort et la gentillesse de la propriétaire, mais nous pensons que l'annonce gagnerait à décrire l'espace extérieur de manière plus précise afin que les futurs voyageurs sachent exactement à quoi s'attendre

Nous ne sommes restés qu’un week-end pour aller à San Sebastian. Appartement situé à 1/4h à pied de la gare . Maison ancienne mais très propre. Quartier calme. Parking très appréciable. Excellent accueil de notre hôte !!!

Estancia incomoda

En el anuncio debería indicarse que la propietaria reside allí de forma que no existe intimidad. Es una casa muy fría y poco acogedora, todas las puertas están llenas de cerrojos y no dispone de comedor, se trata de una cocina con un sofá que se hace cama. Pasamos exclusivamente el tiempo necesario para dormir y desayunar, con la mala pata de que accidentalmente rompimos una pequeña esquina de la vitrocerámica por la que nos ha cargado 250 euros. El jardín / aparcamiento no se podia cerrar con llave así que no pudimos soltar a nuestra mascota porque también aparcaba la propietaria y al salir o entrar podía escaparse la perra. La casa sería preciosa si estuviese bien acondicionada.

Mooie lokatie

Een fijne plek met een zeer gastvrije eigenaar. Het huisje is wat gedateerd, maar wel van alle gemakken voorzien. We waren er maar enkele dagen, maar het is een ideale uitvalsbasis plek voor een langere vakantie. We komen vast nog eens terug.

Agréable séjour de la St Sylvestre

Rien à redire, la maison est conforme aux photos, Monique a été le plus de cette location, accueil, réactivité et gentillesse tout en étant très discrète. Le bonus, la bouteille de champagne et petits gâteaux partagés le jour de l'an. Nous sommes venus avec nos vélos et c'était appréciable au vu de la situation excentrée de la maison (bord de mer à environ 2km).

Très bon séjour dans maison basque

Très bon accueil, Monique est aux petits soins pour ses hôtes. La maison est typique de la région avec très belle vue sur la baie d’Hendaye . Elle est bien placée et bien équipée, très bien chauffée. Parfait pour découvrir la région en famille en toutes saisons . On reviendra .
