The Domaine de l'Angleterre, an exceptional place, is privatized for your weekends, holidays, receptions or management seminars.
Come enjoy, have fun, work and relax in the quiet Normandy countryside, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, 40 minutes from Deauville and 2 hours from Paris.
This superb property offers the possibility to accommodate from 22 to 36 people, in its authentic corbelled manor composed of a very large reception room with its monumental fireplace, its 5/6 bedrooms including a master suite, its beautiful kitchen and its 3 bathrooms, 10 to 12 beds. Her 3 houses independent and fully equipped with fireplaces friends, each accommodating 4 people.
The Lake House with 12 beds possible.

Bedding is very good, sheets, towels and linens are provided.
Enjoy its heated swimming pool (May to seven approx.), Tennis, sauna, old press turned into a game room with billiards, pool house with table football, bowling, table tennis, trampoline, zip line, swings and 10 bikes for walks.

Wonderful Hosts!

Vianney and Carole were the most wonderful hosts! We arrived at the property around dinner time, and asked where we could go to eat with 20 people. There were really no options. Carole said she would take care of it and disappeared. Within an hour, she was back with bread, charcuterie, salads, sides and meat for all of us. It was incredible. The property is beautiful and we loved hanging out at the tables on the front lawn and enjoying the view. If we ever make it back to Normandy, we would stay here again. Thank you, Vianney and Carole!!

Homely and full of character

The property is located in the most adyllic and picturesque setting, with beautiful views over the valley below. The kitchen was fully kitted and homely, making it a joy to prepare meals in. We also used the large bbq several times which was a great success. Tables were set up in front of the property which became our outdoor 'living area' for both casual catching up and dining. We were lucky enough to have fantastic summer weather so the indoor areas were not used as much, but the grand fireplace looked appealing for cooler season stays. All amenities were as described and the pool was a real highlight. The only thing worth noting is that some of the building layouts are more suited for family groups, so consideration needs to be given to sleeping arrangements and privacy. We were a group of 17 friends made up of couples, singles and a family of four, so it was like a jigsaw puzzle working out the best plan for everyone. Luckily it worked out in the end. Absolutely amazing!

We spent 2 weeks here for my 50th birthday trip… our whole family came (25 people of all ages - 70s to newborn). Vianney and Carole helped to make our stay absolutely incredible. Having dedicated spaces for everyone to stay so naps could happen, to having a garden space, the view and outside activities to enjoy the property, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. They helped arrange catering for a few evenings for our celebration which was delightful! We look forward to visiting here again! Thank you!

Beautiful countryside chateau

Le Domaine de l’Angleterre is a hidden piece of paradise outside of Livarot Pays-de-Aux with many bedrooms and amenities. We held our wedding ceremony in the backyard, which the hosts were very gracious to accommodate for. All in all, we were pleased with the tranquility and beauty of the location and the hosts’ communication.

Magical sojourn in the countryside

Gorgeous, historic retreat with a view across the valley. The manor, cottages and different outdoor spaces allowed us to withdraw or come together as we wished. The Antique buildings have amenities for 21st century life but are not “over restored.” The swimming pool is lovely and was enjoyed by all of us. We were a group of Australians, Americans and Brits enjoying a family reunion. Some of us went sightseeing—it’s a bit more more than a hour’s drive to the D-day beaches, less than an hour to Honfleur. Some of us spent the week-relaxing on the farm. Both groups were quite content. We chose to be self-sufficient—There are wonderful farmer’s markets nearby— but it is possible to have breakfast made and other meals catered and also to have housekeeping services for an additional cost. The owner lives on the property. He was unobtrusive but available. He communicates best in French and none of us are fluent, but we rubbed along fine. If you require multiple televisions (we never turned one on) and en-suite bathrooms, this is not the place for you. But if you want to step out of everyday life and snatch a glimpse of historic Normandy, you will enjoy this place.

A beautiful estate in a stunning location

The photos don’t do justice to the stunning panoramic view that can be seen from the front of the house and the pool area. We were a party of children and adults and we didn’t leave the grounds of the property- apart from buying food. There was no need: the children loved the adventure playground, the animals and the swimming pool. And we (adults) enjoyed relaxing in this tranquil and beautiful location. Vianney could not have been more helpful and hospitable - an excellent host!

Fun, fun, fun! We were an intimate group of 34 (28 adults and 6 children; 11-75 years) celebrating a wedding, family reunion and international family-sized "blind-date". The Domaine de l'Angleterre was the perfect venue. We were able to use all of the structures on the property to comfortably accommodate the sleeping and housing needs of our large party. Each of the structures, including the manor house, were quirky and filled with character and conversation pieces, but importantly were very comfortable. The kitchen in the manor house was well equipped and used repeatedly to prepare our large communal meals. The main room in the manor house was sufficiently large to provide an indoor venue for our one bad-weather evening; the piano was a huge bonus. The outdoor facilities were excellent. The pool, sauna, tennis/soccer facilities, in addition to the zip-line, table-tennis, ducks, goats and chickens provided an endless source of entertainment. The grounds were very private. We made lots of noise (dancing, singing, shouting, jeering and cheering) and never once needed to worry about disturbing neighbors; there weren't any. Livarot was only a ~45 minute energetic walk away, or 10-minute drive for the more sedentary-inclined. We were lucky to combine the timing of our visit with the Livarot Cheese Festival; big fun. Vianney was an excellent host. Sometimes a little slow to respond to email but always very, very helpful. During our stay he made himself available for problem-solving but neither he, nor his staff were ever intrusive. Vianney was also instrumental in identifying a local caterer for our formal dining occasion: Boc Traiteur. We had a terrific time at Domaine de l'Angleterre. Thank you Vianney for creating such a fabulous and unique venue.

Perfecte situatie als je met 25 man op pad gaat. Grote kamers. De extra hulp die aangeboden wordt zeer te waarderen. De dame verzorgt het ontbijt voor 10€ p.p. hoef je zelf niks te halen. Daarnaast kan ze helpen bij het koken 's avonds en afwassen. Top.

Un weekend de rêve

Magnifique demeure, pleine de charme et d'authenticité avec un extérieur et une vue à couper le souffle ! Le propriétaire est très sympathique et arrangeant. Idéal pour faire la fête également grace a un système son à la fois à l'extérieur et à l'intérieur et aucun soucis de voisinage car éloignée. Je reviendrais ;)

MAGNIFIQUE !

Week-end familial et nombreux (28 personnes) pour l'anniversaire de ma maman (80 ans). Le manoir est enchanteur comme espéré, l'accueil par son propriétaire Vianney est au diapason. Les différentes générations cohabitent parfaitement dans cet environnement grâce à l'étendue du domaine, de ses confortables "cottages" annexes et de ses "spots" particuliers tel le pressoir/billard qui se transforme en boîte de nuit - pour ne pas déranger les dormeurs du manoir. L'aménagement du manoir est très convivial : belle cuisine chaleureuse, dans le salon une cheminée gigantesque et ses belles flambées, musique, piano (apporter ses partitions), jolies chambres, surtout la très grande suite... Bref, que du bonheur ! Nous reviendrons, c'est sûr ! En été pour profiter cette fois-ci de la piscine... Ou un Noël en famille... les occasions ne vont pas manquer. Nous recommandons vivement cette location aux personnes qui savent apprécier les belles choses !

Exceptionnel -magique

Nous avons loué le domaine entier avec toute la famille pour fêter les 80 ans de ma maman. Grâce à l'atmosphère magique qu'il y a au domaine, ma maman a encore des étoiles dans les yeux. Tout était conforme aux photos : un charme magnifique, très confortable, des tas d'activités (ping-pong, badminton, baby-foot, tennis, sauna, piscine, de nombreux animaux qui ont subjugué les enfants, etc.), une cheminée au bord de laquelle nous avons passé des soirées mémorable. Nous avons également été aidé grâce à un service exceptionnel de Mariryine et sa fille Beatrice qui ont fortement contribué à notre bien-être. En un mot : Parfait. Je ne vois pas quoi dire d'autre :-) Merci un million de fois Vianney.

Séjour mémorable pour mes 30 ans

J'ai réservé le domaine pour fêter mes 30 ans, en compagnie d'amis ; le moins qu'on puisse dire, c'est qu'à peine arrivé en voiture, c'est un enchantement ; de bonnes ondes sont tout de suite perçues et la beauté des lieux est encore plus flagrante que sur les photos. Nous avons été accueillis par Maryline qui est adorable, qui a pris le temps de nous faire la visite ; les chambres, le salon, la cuisine, sont parfaitement fidèles aux photos. Tout est nickel et bien entretenu. Quant aux animations disponibles, babyfoot, billard, piscine, ping pong, sauna, elles ne manquent pas. C'est un régal de se poser près de l'immense cheminée... Un week end parfait, j'y retournerais avec grand plaisir et je recommande les yeux fermés.

Souvenirs mémorables

Pour mes 60 ans nous avons réservé le Domaine de l'Angleterre. Nous y avons passé avec famille et amis un week-end magique. Le cadre est somptueux, tout confère à ce que l'on s'y sente bien. Beaucoup d'activités de plein air, beau court de tennis, piscine chauffée, ping pong, baby foot etc.. Que du bonheur. Nous remercions le propriétaire Monsieur Moret de Rocheprise pour son aimable et discrète disponibilité, de plus nous recommandons le personnel du Domaine : Maryline et sa fille adorables et super efficaces !, Quand au traiteur que l'on nous avait recommandé, il est digne d'éloges. Nous avons organisé un mariage de 17 personnes au domaine de l'Angleterre. Le lieu est magique, les chambres et les cottages confortables et chaleureux. Tout est prévu dans les moindres détail, y compris en cuisine. Nous avons passé, ainsi que nos invités un merveilleux moment. Un lieu exceptionnel

Nous avons passe un Noel fantastique ! Les photos sont tout a fait représentatives des lieux. Une grande maison principale, tres chaleureuse, tres confortable des chambres toutes tres jolies. Des petites maisons independantes tres tres bien équipées. Un accueil tres sympathique et deja l envie d y retourner cette fois en été car ca doit être un reve également. super week end

Un endroit magique et très agréable. très tranquille et tous est sur place. Un acceuil merveilleux du proprietaire et toujours à notre service. Nous avons fetez l'anniversaire de ma femme entouré de 24 convives . un week end de reve. Je recommande vous ne serez pas decu

Un Week end de rêve

Un lieu magique au détour d'un petit chemin, le manoir se détache dans un écrin de verdure les 3 petites maisons pleines de charme complètent l,ensemble. Tôut est réuni pour un WE de rêve. Si en plus le soleil est de la partie comme ce fut le cas chacun a pu profiter des nombreuses activités piscine tennis ping pong, billard, parties de boules et de baby foot sans oublier le sauna fort apprécier. Le Sejour salon impressionnant par sa surface et sa décoration la grande cheminée pour se réunir autour d'un petit feu. les chambres et salle de bains tôutes differentes et de grand confort. Une grande cuisine rustique très agréable pour le petit déjeuner et beaucôup de vaisselle. Sans oublier la convivialité et la gentilles du propriétaire. N'hésitez pas a venir profiter de ce bel endroit au calme mais tôut pres de Livarot et de ses commerces.
