Pays d'Auge - Beautiful view of the Normandy bocage

This half-timbered cottage is spacious and ideal for families or groups. Located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, it has been converted from the former wine press of the Pontallery manor.
Here, you can enjoy the countryside (a 2-hectare park) and a beautiful view of the Normandy bocage.
Come to Livarot to discover how the famous Norman cheeses and cider are made. It’s also horse country: there’s a stud farm nearby.
The Côte Fleurie, including Deauville and Honfleur, is 40 minutes away, as are the D-Day landing beaches.

Accommodation
The detached house is comfortable and features a large living area with a sitting room (sofa bed for 2 additional guests) and a dining room, a large kitchen, a bedroom with 2 single beds, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms, each with a double bed, another bedroom with four single beds, and a separate bathroom equipped with a tub and toilet.
You have access to a private, sunny terrace for sunbathing. It is furnished with a table, chairs, and a parasol for enjoyable barbecues.
Various outdoor games: volleyball net, ping-pong table, pétanque court, and bicycles.

This building dates back to the 16th century and once housed an actual apple press, an agricultural machine used to extract juice from apples by pressing them before it was turned into cider or calvados!
If you visit in the spring, the apple trees in the park and the surrounding fields will be in bloom.

Directions
It is 200 km from Paris.
Lisieux is 14 km away: you can take the train to the Lisieux station and then take bus 253, which drops you off near the manor.
Livarot and its shops are 4 km away.

You can park near the vacation rental.
