This was our second time staying at the Corn Crib, and we love it! It's a great location for us to visit our daughter who is attending Drake University. It's off a main road, so easy to get to, and there's plenty of room for the six of us to stay. We will be back again!

The Corn Crib was the perfect place to lay our heads during our long journey from Texas to Wisconsin! Barb was a fantastic host—welcoming, thoughtful, and made everything so easy for us. After a very long day on the road with my little traveling circus of two dogs and a cat, having such a peaceful, comfortable place to settle in for the night was exactly what we needed.The property was charming, quiet, and such a fun little stop along our adventure. We were able to relax, recharge, and wake up ready for the final leg of our trip. I’m so grateful to Barb for welcoming all of us and helping make this big cross-country move a little more memorable.Wonderful host, wonderful stay, and absolutely a place I’d recommend!

The Corn Crib is a very cute Cabin! We stayed for a late night overnight before moving our daughter into Drake University. Everything was as listed. They even left us eggs, English muffins, and milk in the fridge for a breakfast treat! There was a fully stocked Keurig for our morning coffees too. We will definitely be keeping this one on our list for when we visit Des Moines!!

The Corn Crib is a very cute place in Indianola. It worked just perfect for the 4 of us (plus the dog) to have a place to land during our annual vacation together. Barb was excellent. She was very quick to answer any texts that I sent. I would recommend the corn crib!

Our second year at the Corn Crib and it was equally enjoyable this year. Our host Barb provided check in details well in advance (and even offered early check in as she hadn't had a guest in the property the night before.) The unit is just as it's pictured and spotlessly clean, including eggs, milk, cereal, and English muffins for breakfast was a plus. The small kitchen is nicely equipped. Barb responded to messages within minutes and even dropped by with some garden-fresh tomatoes while we were there.The property is not available for us for 2027 as it's already booked, so a word to the wise -- especially during the Des Moines Metro Opera season -- BOOK EARLY!
