Loving the sunny days..
Sit in the lake front screened porch and watch the sunsets, enjoy morning coffee basking in the rising sun while relaxing at the dining table in the screened marina view deck or grab a snack at the lakeside café table. A second lakeside deck has loungers and an umbrella for those naps in the sun.
When it’s Time to Rest….
This two story cottage can sleep 9 and all bedding is provided.

2nd Floor Bedroom #1 - Double bed, alarm clock and closet
2nd floor Bedroom #2 – The Bunkhouse Room- One bunk bed with double on bottom and twin top. One twin over twin bunk bed- this room sleeps at least 5. Has a closet. This room has its own television (no satellite), DVD player, movies, board games and Wii gaming system.

Additional sleeping space can be made on the living room sofa or, when the weather is nice, on the screen room sectional and there is an inflatable queen size mattress but number of guests is limited to 9.

The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, glassware, cutlery, utensils, knives, stove, fridge, cookware, toaster, microwave and spices, herbs & seasonings. Dish soap, dish cloths, dish towels and paper towels are supplied. The well water is guaranteed fresh and clean. There is a BBQ with cooking tools on the marina view deck and propane is included.

The living room has a sofa, two chairs, a dining table that can expand to seat 8 and a beverage centre with coffee maker and wine fridge. Above the electric fireplace is a 50 inch TV with Bell satellite, DVD player, movies and a PS3 gaming system. Air conditioning and heat keep things comfortable no matter the weather. There is a cell signal booster so there is consistent cell service available within the cottage.

The bathroom has a shower and comes with a hair drier and towels. Renters are asked to bring their own beach towels.

Enjoy the evening at the lakeside fire pit with chairs, firewood and roasting sticks provided.

Water, water, everywhere…
This lakeside cottage is steps away from gorgeous Lake Manitoba which is shallow enough by the shore for children but deep enough for recreational water craft and activities. The water stays clear year round. The use of the cottage comes with use of a dock space in the private marina. A boat launch is available approximately 5 kms away at The Narrows.
The cottage sits at the end of the bay with roads and pathways around the marina and out into a waterfowl reserve area.

Note: A strict non-smoking and non-vaping rule applies in the cottage and screened decks.

Area Amenities
The cottage is 5 km from Lake Manitoba Narrows where you can find restaurants, a lounge, grocery and liquor store. The cottage is 25 minutes from Ashern which has a variety of stores, pharmacies, gas stations, restaurants and even a Tim Horton’s. Throughout the year there are local events such as fishing and snowmobile derbies, community bbq’s, family events, fairs, powwows and rodeos. The lake is known as a master angler’s paradise, fish such as walleye (pickerel), sauger, northern pike, perch, bass, and other species of fish travel year-round through the Narrows channel.
