We had a wonderful stay at the farm! The temperature was too frigid (-15F!) to explore much of the property, but we did get a chance to meet the goats, which was awesome, and watch the birds and squirrels enjoy the feeders. The house was perfect... Plenty of space for the four of us to spread out in our own rooms, but also cozy enough to all hang out together at the table or in the living room. Having a 2nd bathroom upstairs was definitely a bonus. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to make meals, and Regan even left us some cheese and local root beer! Though we came up to explore the area, the temperature kept us inside for a good part of Saturday. We ended up making a pot of chili and playing games at the table... it was lovely!Speaking again of the bitter temps, Regan was kind enough to allow us to park our car in the garage. The car's battery definitely appreciated it, but probably not as much as we appreciated getting into a car that was warmer than 0!The only thing I wanted to mention (and this is NOT a complaint.. Just an observation) is that the steps to get upstairs are fairly steep, and fairly shallow. They might be tough to navigate for someone who has some mobility challenges. I only mention it because our group happens to be especially tuned in to accessibility. Bottom line, we had a fantastic stay, and we would love to come back again another time of year and explore more of the property and the surrounding area!
