The Estate House at Rosini Vineyards & Winery

The winery and vineyard are set at the front of the property and the house is set approximately in the middle of the 25 acres. So, if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing place to get away with family and reconnect, then this is the place! As well as enjoying the winery setting. The house and pool have been completely remodeled with a modern farmhouse look. The house also features upstairs and downstairs master bedrooms with king size beds complete with en-suites. There are two additional bedrooms each with queen beds, a queen sofa bed in the media room and a single convertible chair bed in the library. The sofa and chair beds are good for kids. All the windows have shutters so you can adjust the amount of natural light in each room. Enjoy grilling outside or just lounging by the pool. There is also a balcony overlooking the pool and the back acreage, the perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine! Also, if you like to fish, we have a catch and release pond, but we are also less than 10 miles from Lake Ray Hubbard and less than 30 miles from Lake Lavon and Lake Tawakoni.
We are conveniently located 30 to 45 miles from Love Field, DFW International as well as other Dallas attractions.
Rockwall offers a variety of great restaurants and is known for being the live music capital of North Texas with weekend music everywhere! As well as at the winery on Friday nights. Rockwall also is the home to Lake Ray Hubbard. Enjoy concerts by the lake and boating activities during the summer months!
This is a NON SMOKING facility INSIDE & OUT. No DJ's, live music or sound systems allowed. No outside music with profanity or loud bass. All daytime visitors to the property must vacate by 10pm. If you are looking for a place to have a loud party this is not the place for you. We do NOT allow adult parties. Small family gatherings and wedding rehearsal dinners will be allowed if discussed prior to booking. Also, these small gatherings will be charged an additional $350 fee. Absolutely no illegal drug use on the property, this includes medical or recreational marijuana.
This property does have exterior security cameras.

This review in no way reflects on Rossini winery, they are not affiliated with this rental. I'll start with the positives: responsive host and overall great house. 3.5 living areas, nice spacious rooms & bathrooms. Kitchen had most of what we needed. Cons: upon arrival we noticed an old rug and a can in the driveway, high grass around the pool and home, and landscaping is mostly high weeds. We rented this house for a 60th birthday celebration and our plan was to visit the winery Friday night for live music and hang by the beautiful pool all day saturday. The pool, however, was filthy. Full of dead tarantulas and frogs, was molded and green and full of dirt and leaves. There was an empty ketchup package by the pool and some random pool floats. Upon contacting the host he immediately sent his pool and yard guys over, but it was still uninhabitable for the entire weekend. Inside the house we found empty Capri Sun packages in a nightstand drawer, rat droppings in a lot of the drawers in the kitchen, and the outdoor patio area where we hoped to relax was filthy. We did not even want to sit in the chairs. We spent hours trying to get the TVs to work to watch some college football but could never find any decent stations. All of the remotes were dead and we were having to run around the house switching out batteries to get one TV to work. Found random pjs in master closet. We still made the best of the weekend but this house definitely needs detailed cleaning and some upkeep!

Nice Property - plenty of room

Great place - very nice property with plenty of room. Everything works well, and it was a perfect fit for our family with a wide range of ages (2-62). We were there to attend a “cousin camp” over multiple days at another relative’s home. We used this home for our recovery base. Had a few minor issues that were apparently remnants from the previous travelers (some lingering odor, and a couple of broken banister slats). But - Overall, a great stay.

Well designed home nice pool.HOWEVER needs a deep cleaning upper balcony dirty and wasp nests patio dirty wasp nests under chairs. Grass a foot high arrived weds cut Sat morning at 6am clumps everywhere. Beautiful pool but needs better maintenance water level.below traps so pool many bugs leaves pine needles we added water pool man came 2 days later. Water always clear but needed to net skim everyday not a problem to me to skim. House for 12 but only 2 pool chairs. Pool floats in garage but needed washed covered with dirt and mouse droppings. Mouse in master bedroom. Superficial allClean kitchen well supplied even with storage containers. HOWEVER home for 12 ONLY 4 FORKS. Also 4 ounce coffee cups so we bought mugs and left them. Owner responded quickly with message but most things not addressed. Kitchen hood light out ok but looked up there and filthy when turn fan on got grease dirt on your hand. 3 staircase banister poles broken out, Dangerous. We had a great time but house has been lacking basic maintenance. Plenty of paper supplies and kitchen spices and once again a beautiful pool once you get bugs and debris out and water level at proper level.

Return Visit

Our group of women has stayed here several times under a previous owner and love the house/property.This time, we had a different experience. The house was not clean and did not seem like they were even ready for us. The grounds were littered with cans, wine bottles, beer bottles, glass martini glasses and dishes/utensils from inside the house. One corner of the pool was broken off with debris in the pool, along with bottle caps, cigarettes and several bricks. It was just a real mess. In defense of the owner/manager, the previous owner, who has a business on the property, told me that neighbors had complained of excessive noise and loud music with the rental before us. Sounds like they had a big party and the management did not inspect the site between rentals to take care of everything. Another problem was the upstairs hall bath. You had to take the lid off of the toilet and stick your hand in the tank to flush. I made contact with the owner and he sent the pool man out but he didn't remove anything from the pool. He mentioned sending the handyman on Day 1 to fix the toilet, but he never showed up. We just left the tank lid off all week but it was just...gross. Make sure that has been fixed before you rent. There are many other issues that desperately need to be addressed before we would rent again. Most could be fixed with a deep cleaning inside the house and a local manager to have eyes on the property regularly. We did get a cleaning fee refund.

Wonderful Stay

We had a family group of 11 and fit comfortably. House is spacious and the pool was an awesome way to beat the 90 degree heat. Close to Rockwall which has a nice little Farmers Market on Saturday mornings and Charlie's was a great spot for lunch. Smoke Monkey BBQ is close to the house and delicious. Would definitely book again.

Wedding Stay

The house is lovely but the dishes we pulled out of the cabinet were dirty and had to be washed before we could use them and there was trash under two of the beds, used soda cans and used tissues The driveway has some huge pot holes

Rosini Vineyard Home

We absolutely loved the house! Comfy beds, sheets, pillows, fluffy towels. We loved that there were beach towels and floats for the pool. The wine tastings included with the stay was a nice treat. We traveled with our children and grandchildren. Everyone had their own bedroom and bath. The game room was filled with games, such a treat! This was a beautiful home with lots of room. We highly recommend it!

Stay at a winery!

Big house with lots of divider and communal space. Great pool. And a winery basically in your front yard. What more could you want? The food and drinks are also excellent, so don’t miss it.

Fabulous Girls Weekend

Had a fabulous time at our Girls Weekend. We did the live music at the winery on Friday night and spent Saturday enjoying the pool. What a great place, very relaxing and comfortable. The food at the winery on Friday night was amazing. The house is so spacious but cozy. With 7 females, we never felt like we were crowded. We enjoyed the back patio all day on Saturday.

Just what we needed

We attended a cousin camp/family reunion. The property was just what we needed - close by, plenty of room, and a place to take a break from the activities while our little ones napped. We didn’t even have time to use the pool, but it was nice 😊

Eclipse trip to Dallas.

We had a fabulous stay, thank you. Everything was excellent. Of particular note: the kitchen was very well stocked with equipment; the lounge areas were very comfortable; the beds were also very comfortable; the pool was a little chilly, but in April I did not expect any different, but fantastic; and the grounds offer a lot of space. Were this property not 5000 miles / 20 hours travelling away, we would definitely go back. Mike Cahill England

Nieces wedding

We stayed here for our nieces wedding at a nearby venue. The location was great and was accessible to anywhere we needed to go. The house was starting to show its age, but it still did its job. We had plenty of room to spread out and it could easily host a large group. Overall it was exactly what we needed and we had a great stay.

Perfect location for Women's Retreat

Carol provided warm hospitality and a welcoming atmosphere at the house. We enjoyed retreating here. It was very serene and comforting. Carol is very responsive and attentive.

Perfect For Wedding Weekend

Great location near our daughters wedding venue. Everyone had a private bedroom and plenty of bathrooms! The living room, great room & kitchen were perfect for family to gather & celebrate in a warm cozy setting. Communication with Carol was always quick & easy. Lunch at Rosini Vineyard was delicious and was decorated with awesome Halloween decor! Carol is the perfect host both at the home and the vineyard!

Fun, relaxing, enjoyable stay.

We had a great time. The house with 5 bedrooms and baths was perfect for our cousin reunion. The house is located where we were close to everything we planned for outings—a concert in Terrell, sailboat ride on Lake Ray Hubbard. Eating at good restaurants at the Rockwall Harbor. Wine tasting and delicious food at Rosini’s Winery which is close to the house. Highly recommend. Just be sure to get the owner’s cell phone # or lock box code before checking in.👍👍
