Perfectly located rental house with stunning views, lovely staff, great pool and easy walk to the town center and beach.Some minor maintenance issues need attention but it could not be a better place to stay in San Juan Del Sur.

The pictures do no justice. This is a fantastic property. Perfectly located in walking distance to everything. Enough space to spread out. The hospitality of Marvin and others was nothing short of superb. I cannot recommend this home enough. Would definitely stay again.

Amazing stay

We had the most wonderful stay here at La Santa Maria. We stayed for 8 nights and it felt like home by the time we left. Staff: Kind and responsible. The first night we got there we were out of water. One of the guards brought a case of water right away. The cleaning person came every day and did a thorough job. Rosalie was sweet and so accommodating to our every need. More pillows and towels, no problem. We had this unique issue with the oven being used, and Rosalie arranged for a brand-new oven to be brought immediately and replace our oven. That was really above and beyond. Location: The house is comfortable and truly the nicest option in SJDS. It sits on top of the hill right at the edge of town which makes the town, beaches and main stores and roads all easily accessible. However, being on the top of the hill, there is a magnificent view and you are not kept awake by the noise in town. Comfort: This was like staying in a hotel only you had a lot of room. The seating areas are sleek and the bedrooms are close to bathrooms. The shower pressure is great, the Wi-Fi was a little spotty, the porch and wading pool were perfect places to hang out and read. We happened to do a lot of cooking and the kitchen is big and the fixings are all new and sturdy. If you are looking for a convenient and comfortable stay, I would highly suggest La Santa Maria. This property was truly perfect for our large group (6 adults, 3 kids and a baby). Simply put, every inch of the house is stunning, stylish and well-designed. The rooms are comfortable and kept cool with a/c and fans, and the kitchen is well-stocked with all the equipment needed to cool at home. Luis and his family were truly wonderful and always available when needed. Casa 72 is a treasure in San Juan del Sur and we'd highly recommend it to anyone.

We had a great time at Casa Faro! The casa and the views are both beautiful. It was immaculately clean (altho keep in mind you are in the tropics and bugs will always find a way in!) and well furnished. Check in with Gabriel was seamless once we found the house. It was a little tricky to find which house it was as we arrived in the dark (due to a flight delay) and during a big storm. Gabriel still met us with a smile on his face tho! Walking to/from town was a bit of an adventure the first couple times, but then we got it down! The security guards were hesitant to let us go to our house when they realized we weren't exactly sure of the way (because we had arrived in the dark), but after we got it worked out, they remembered us and greeted us with smiles. The private pool was such a fun surprise! We also enjoyed the Pelican Eyes pool that is just a short walk away. Having air conditioning was absolutely wonderful and was a much needed way to cool off at the end of long days spent outside. We would certainly recommend Casa Faro to friends!

This was a nice place to stay. I recommend it to other families.
