Everything was amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay and it was so relaxing. It was a beautiful, peaceful property with an amazing host. We can’t wait for next trip down!
I had a very brief but wonderful stay at Vicki’s bunkhouse. She has added so many “extras”, and the property is simply beautiful. What a great getaway for a couple or small family!
Vicki the owner was so kind and the place is perfect for a relaxing weekend! All the details in the home to make you feel at home! Enjoyed every minute. We will come back and stay again!
Came to Fayetteville for mom's weekend and this place was so cozy and peaceful yet close to UARK. So well decorated, with amazing amenities. We didn't want to leave to go to UARK for mom's weekend! Don't forget to stroll the gardens. Host is amazing, helpful and friendly. We will be back.
We have stayed in numerous VRBO’s locations throughout the years. Vicki was an amazing hostess and now friend. She had the cleanest accommodations filled with toiletries such as razors, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soaps, and shampoos. Additionally, she had jars of candies, nuts, and even a loaf of banana bread. The property itself was the most quaint place you could imagine. She even had fishing gear for us to use at her pond. Our stay was absolutely amazing.
This property was absolutely enchanting, the host Vicki was warm and welcoming. The bunkhouse had everything you’d ever need. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the shower was wonderful! But sitting outside and listening to the world and the quiet with a wonderful cup of coffee was magic. And it was 12 minutes from UArk and my oldest son. I will absolutely be back!
This place was perfect for a girls' trip to Fayetteville! The first Razorbacks football game of the season was happening during the weekend we booked, but you would've never known from where we were staying, even though the drive into town took less than 10 minutes! Vicki was the perfect host and was always there to make sure we had everything we needed. She was a pleasure to talk to and it was always a treat to get a visit from her two Corgis, Birdy and Ranger. This place will be the first on the list if either me or my friend, Jessica, are needing to visit Fayetteville again! :)
I could go on and on and on about how wonderful this place is! A real gem! I loved staying here and my family who came over to visit in the evenings loved it, too! Vicki is an awesome host! You won't regret staying here on this absolutely beautiful and peaceful property!
My sister and I spent a weekend for our birthdays at Vicki’s property and everything exceeded expectations! We absolutely loved the bunkhouse and her property. It’s a short drive into Fayetteville and we loved getting to go to town and then coming back to relax. We hope to be back next year and spend some more time at Vicki’s property!
Vicki's property is beautiful and the bunkhouse is amazing-homey and comfortable..stocked with lots of snacks and drinks..great internet connection. All around wonderful weekend location!
Magical! We were overwhelmed with this quaint little space. So many personal touches by the owner. Vicki greeted us and treated us like family. We will be back!! Highly recommend.
Second visit here and one of my favorite places.
We love staying here, Victoria always adds a bunch a little extra special touches that make it great. We’ve stayed here as a family of four and this past trip my husband stayed with our youngest son and his two teenage friends. It was perfect. Beautiful location
We loved this place! So cute and unique. Vicki is a fantastic hostess and the bunkhouse is so nice, the pond view, quiet, and peaceful setting is perfect yet it’s only 10 minutes to downtown! We will stay again for sure!
We were very pleased to have found this property. Vicki was great to communicate with and…
The property was very clean and almost spa like in The bathroom . We stayed here with my husband and our 17 yr old son for a water ski tournament and enjoyed all the convenience it provided us.
This place was so charming and unique! It was beautiful outside and in! We loved the country setting and it was still very close to everything in town. The inside was very welcoming and comfortable. Vicki had so many nice things to help enjoy our stay. The beds were fabulous and the bathroom was gorgeous. It honestly couldn’t have been any better!
Highly recommend staying here! Wonderful property. Beautiful setting and lots of attention to detail to make your stay comfortable and fun! Very attentive gracious hostess!
Great stay at the cutest place with an awesome owner!! We will be back!!

She anticipated our needs and was so thoughtful in providing snacks, drinks, toiletries, and anything else we needed! We will definitely be returning during warmer weather when we can better explore the property!

Wonderful hidden gem.
The bunkhouse is a very relaxing escape from the city while being right next door to it. The views of the country when you step out each morning are breathtaking. Especially during the fall when the leaves are changing.
The bed is super comfortable, the property is beautiful and the owner is the most accommodating and gracious person you will ever meet. The amenities in this little bunkhouse far exceed any other place you will stay, that combined with the added beauty of the property makes this my go to place anytime I am in the area from now on.
Vickie the owner had snacks, a couple bottles of wine, water, sodas, fruit, instant oatmeal and coffee available. You didn’t have to worry about forgetting a razor, toothbrush, soap or anything. It was all there waiting. She even provides bathrobes for after you step out of the relaxing rain fall shower. She provides it all so that her quest can simply relax. She allowed us to check out later so my wife could stay there and I would not be rushed while I was finishing up a class in town.
Like another review on here, I almost hate to brag on the place because I don’t want it to be reserved the next time I want it. If you are looking around this area then you can stop looking and start booking.

Absolutely incredible!!
I'd like to keep this gem to myself, but that wouldn't be fair to the awesome owner. This is the cutest place, close to the city, but very private and quiet, sitting on 300 acres next to the owner's home. The decorating and design are extremely well done down to the smallest detail, and the bathroom and shower are beautiful. There is not a kitchen, but there is a small fridge and a microwave. There's no need to cook anyway, as there is a wonderful breakfast place 5" up the road. The Bunkhouse is small for a cabin, but much larger than a hotel room, and all the space is used very efficiently. Everything guests could possibly need is provided, and The Bunkhouse is generously stocked with water, wine, beer, and an assortment of high end snacks. The bed is very comfortable.
Finally, an interesting side note is that the owners are descendants of the original Mayo family (Mayo Clinic) and they have some interesting artifacts and stories from their ancestors to share.
This "bunkhouse" would be perfect for a romantic weekend getaway for 2.
