About this property

FOR RENT T5 HOUSE 3* OFFICE DU TOURISME SERRE CHEVALIER since 2013

A fitted kitchen with plenty of tableware, a living-dining room with a sofa and a table and chairs, a terrace with table and chair and a WC - 1 ski locker in the staircase leading down to the cellar.
Upstairs: 3 bedrooms including 1 160 cm bed + 1 140 cm bed and 2 bunk beds of 90 + 1 extra bed for adults / children and duvets or blankets - 1 bathroom with bath mat and hairdryer. All bedding is new.
Free shuttle 50 m from the house which runs 7 days a week and every half hour - stop in front of the town hall and takes you to Chantemerle at the foot of the LUC ALPHAND TRACK (1. 6 kms or) 3 minutes by car during school vacation periods.

You will be welcomed by Home Montagne, who represents me and who will be your contact person for the duration of your stay.
A black book is in the drawer of the living room coffee table, you will find information and in particular the wifi code
Saint chaffrey / Chantemerle is the chief town of the Serre Chevalier valley and is located between Briançon and Monetiers les Bains

Nous avons été ravis de notre séjour en famille à St Chaffrey.

La maison est agréablement aménagée et bien équipée. Nous avons apprécié son emplacement, dans un joli village avec un petite épicerie et en même temps avec la facilité d'accès au grand domaine skiable de Serre-Chevalier (via la navette de bus gratuite qui vous dépose au pieds des pistes et dont l'arrêt de bus est à proximité de la maison). Super séjour en famille!

Maison très confortable. Cuisine très bien équipée en vaisselle. La propreté du lèche-frite laissait vraiment à désirer.Très bien pour 6 personnes.plus compliqué pour 7. Canapé complètement inconfortable pour dormir. Avons passé de bonnes vacances malgré le temps mitigé.

Pas le meilleur endroit pour des vacances de ski

Notre séjour à St Chaffrey n’a pas commencé comme nous l’aurions souhaité. Nous nous attendions à passer des vacances libres de toute contrainte, au pied des pistes où tout serait accessible à pied. Toutefois, nous avons constaté une fois avoir payé, que la maisonnette ne se situe pas du tout au pied des pistes (comme l’indiquait la carte de l’annonce, par la suite corrigée), mais à St Chaffrey, bourg mignon mais mort, environ 2 km de Chantemerle (distance trop longue à parcourir en chaussures de ski !). Une navette gratuite passe à proximité toutes les 30 minutes, mais cesse à 18h. (Il fallait dont se dépêcher si nous avions envie de profiter d’un ”Afterski” à Chantemerle !) De plus, à notre arrivée, nous avons constaté que la maison n’avait pas été chauffée avant notre arrivée. Il faisait peut-être 8 degrés !!, nous avons dîné habillés de nos manteaux et de nos chaussures de neige… (Nous avons d'abord pensé que le réfrigérateur était cassé car il faisait plus froid dans la cuisine que dans le frigo.) Nous devons reconnaître que nous ne nous sommes pas sentis respectés pour deux sous ! Cela a évidemment entraîné notre mépris total des consignes indiquées dans le cahier : nous avons gardé les chauffages allumés à longueur de journées dans toute la maison et nous avons même allumé le four le premier soir, histoire d’avoir une source de chaleur supplémentaire. Il est regrettable que nous ayons ressenti une telle déception, car la maison est en soit très bien et très bien équipée.

La maison se trouve à 5 min de la navette gratuite vers la station; plus besoin de la voiture c'est très pratique; nous avons passé un excellent séjour
