A lovely stay in La Chapelle-Villars

The house was well-appointed, clean and comfortable. Laurent was a welcoming and informative host. The location was convenient for exploring the Northern Rhône wine region while also being quiet and peaceful. The wood burning stove put out lots of heat, which was great since we arrived when it was cold and raining, and there was lots of dry firewood available for use. The views from the house are beautiful, and if the weather had been better we would have used the patio and pool. We would have liked some larger or better towels for the bathroom, but this was our only minor quibble. All else was perfect!

La Chapelle-Villars vacation

This was an incredible location to enoy the French countryside, great wines, incredible food, the landscaping incredible, and we're up in the mountains in the clouds, and the view was better than the pictures. Wonderful house, swimming pool, bocci court, and nature in abundance. The kichen was very well equipped, firewood provided for fireplace. There were so many attractions within an easy drive. The host was very responsive to all of our questions. We will be returning in the future. Thank you Laurent.

Excellent Rural Setting Near Major Cities and Attractions

Our two families thoroughly enjoyed our stay in La Chapelle-Villars. The property was better than depicted in the photos and both the views and pool were a great hit with both the children and adults. It was nice to relax at the house or to travel short distances to explore the village of Condrieu or the city of Vienne. We found it to be the perfect base for the Women's World Cup in Lyon. We would certainly recommend this property and would like to visit the region again.

Wonderful house with a stunning view and a challenging driveway/street in front of the house

The house is located closely to Lyon but still in the middle of the nature with a stunning view. Three and a half bedrooms, a spacious kitchen, a nice living room, a great terrace, an additional sundeck and even an owl boules track and a large pool leave nothing to be desired. Only thing one needs to know beforehand is that the street directly in front of the house is very steep and that you are only able to enter the driveway in reverse. All in all no problem as long as your car is not too flat or you are arriving with a trailer.

Superbe séjour

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour (3 adultes et 4 enfants/adolescent). La piscine est magnifique (et au sel, ce que nous avons trouvé fort apréciable) et nous avons arpenté le terrain de pétanque en long, en large et en travers tous les jours. La vue est est par ailleurs incroyable, l'endroit paisible et la table de ping-pong un plus des plus agréable. Un tout petit bémol quant à la place disponible dans les armoires, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de nous installer confortablement. Un grand merci à Nelly qui nous a très bien accueilli et merci également au propriétaire pour sa gentille attention lors de notre arrivée et pour son aide.

Svært bra villa med alle fasiliteter

Vi var 8 venner som hadde et fantastisk opphold på en flott villa som var smakfullt innredet og godt utstyrt. Bra beliggenhet med tanke på vinturer til Côte Rôtie og Condrieu. Nødvendig med egen bil. Det er en OK restaurant i gangavstand.

Maison très bien située avec une splendide vue sur la plaine, toute équipée

Maison très bien située avec une splendide vue sur la plaine, toute équipée avec jardin agrémenté d’une table de ping pong et d’une piste de pétanque. La personne qui suit la qualité de l’eau de la piscine se coupe en quatre pour nous aider. Elle renseigne les lieux à visiter et les bons restaurants. Si nécessaire, reste plus longtemps pour résoudre les petits problèmes liés à l’infrastructure. Par contre, nous avons été très surpris en arrivant que la maison soit en réalité la demeure principale du propriétaire. Ce n’est pas indiqué dans le descriptif du logement. Les placards étaient remplis par les affaires personnelles du propriétaire : selon les chambres, très peu voire pas de place pour nos propres vêtements. Gros bémol également pour les tentes solaires qui n’ont pas été vérifiées avant notre venue : les points de fixation avaient disparu ou avaient été interchangés (et donc les codes couleurs aussi). Sans l’aide de la personne qui suit la piscine, nous n’y serions pas parvenus. Il n’est pas possible non plus de fermer la piscine tous les jours (comme demandé) car les 5 cloisons qui recouvrent la piscine sont lourdes (manipulables uniquement par deux adultes). Un volet manuel aurait été plus approprié. Globalement, cela reste malgré tout un bon logement pour les vacances mais surestimé au niveau prix.

Location supérieure à nos attentes pour une réunion de travail. Equipement, confort, vue sur la chaîne des Alpes et le Mont Blanc. La piscine semble top mais en Janvier nous n'avons pas testé. Merci à Laurent pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité.

Excellent séjour

Un super cadre pour un weekend ou plus et cela en famille ou entre amis , calme, en pleine nature avec la possibilité de profiter pleinement du grand confort de la maison très bien équipée. Piscine au top avec une vue époustouflante. Adorable petit village , commerce à proximité. Nous avons eu un super séjour !! Merci de nous avoir accueilli :) nous reviendrons surement l'été prochain :) Bonne continuation.
