This riverfront property is the perfect place for your getaway. Whether you are looking for fishing, hunting, camping, canoeing/kayaking, shooting or simply hoping for an escape to nature and a break from the ordinary, this is the place for you.

The cabin sits on a beautiful stretch of the Arkansas river with a mile of shoreline and 130 acres of secluded, quiet land. There is plenty of space to explore, hunt, fish, play in the water, or take a multiple mile float or boat trip down the river. There are 3 RV hookups for those with extra folks and stuff to bring along.

The house is very nicely appointed and a wonderful perch to overlook the river or spend hours of family time inside. A perfect place to unplug and unwind. And also, for those who still would like to stay connected, there is wifi connectivity available.

The cabin and property is set up for big events and group activities but also great for just a few folks to get away for a bit. The whole place and setting is simply beautiful. It is just awesome!

Great secluded location, great fishing and always an adventure somewhere on the riverbed or trails. House is very comfortable and spacious. Made lots of family trips and great memories here in the last few years. We’ll be back.

Our stay here was excellent. We had some trouble finding it in the dark but the host was quick to respond with directions. The rain washed out the roads a bit but we managed just fine in our AWD with a trailer. We had a family BBQ, enjoyed mornings on the patio drinking coffee and visiting outside. A much needed and well deserved break outside of our everyday hustle and bustle. We definitely would stay here again!

This is a fabulous and unique property. Very private with amazing river frontage and room to explore. The property manager was great and everything was as promised. Really cool use of local sawmill wood throughout cabin including the furniture, cabinetry, staircase, etc. Horseshoes, fire pit, and even a real frisbee golf course. Also this place had RV hookups so you could host a large group here. We loved our stay and would definitely return here for another trip.

Arkansas River Hideaway

Another great stay. Nature trails, fishing, wildlife, mountain bikes, plenty of room to explore. Quiet and relaxing, a great getaway with fantastic views and direct access to Arkansas River. Inside is comfortable and everything you need. We’ll be back.

Great spot to getaway

This was a nice spot to be out there and take in nature. Not luxurious but nice accommodations. Property manager was great to communicate. Range was awesome. Not too far to get to what you need - many options about 20 away from the house.

We love the outdoors and the opportunity to get close to nature. We are a family of 5 from Wichita and believe we have found a very unique property in the heart of Kansas. It is truly secluded yet provides all kinds of opportunities for fun. Front porch and picture window overlooks a beautiful bend of the Arkansas River. RV hookups are also available.

Why they chose this property

Just 30 minutes South of Wichita, we find it hard to believe we are still in Kansas when we arrive at the cabin. So close to the beautiful Arkansas River and on a quiet 130 acres, completely surrounded by nature.

What makes this property unique

This is one of the best stretches of river anywhere in Kansas for float or kayak/canoe trips. Great fishing too. There are several great options for a nice trip down the river. 1. The launch site on highway 55 between Udall and Bel Plaine is a great place to drop in for a 3 to 4 hour trip to the cabin. 2. Launching at the cabin gives you a 2 to 3 hour trip South to the Oxford boat ramp. Both of these options are great. And for the adventurous, a 5 to 6 hour trip from highway 55 to Oxford is doable as well.

We have found that launching at highway 55 is great because the end point is the cabin. What a great spot to finish and then have a snack or meal and talk about the fun of the trip down the river.
