Located on the Leelanau winery trail, this is the perfect location for wine connoiseurs, wedding guests, and those looking for all that Traverse City has to offer. Snow tubing at Timberlee Hills is just a mile away.
2 bedrooms each with a king size bed with one featuring an ensuite bathroom, a sizely living room with a 60" H D television and fireplace, a kitchenette, a therapeutic outdoor hot tub, and a year-round enclosed heated in-ground swimming pool are but a few of the features of this special accomodation. An exquisite second bathroom, an air hockey table, outdoor grill, and fire pit are also available. Adults only are welcome here.

Nice Host But Would Not Stay Here Again

The good: Bill (the host) was kind. He showed us the place when we arrived. The apartment was clean and stocked. The pool area was nice, but we were unable to use it. The bad: there seemed to be a rodent problem. There was some sort of animal squeaking & running in the ceiling most of the night. The pool & hot tub are not “available” after 9 pm. Apparently the listing states continental breakfast, however Bill stated that he does not make breakfast. Only provides some cereal, milk & OJ.

There was no mention of a time that you had to be out of the pool he said when we got there, it had to be 9:00 PM which was too early for us to even enjoy the hot tub or the pool… No stove washer and dryer said coin operated wasn’t even on his property Gave us one bath towel for five days

This rental was very nicely equipped and Bill and Susan were very accommodating. It is very convenient to many wineries and also to Sleeping Bear Dune.

Every now and then things don't go as planned.

We have thoroughly enjoyed Bill's 2 Elegant King in the past. This time an unforeseen situation occurred. Bill was a gentleman. We had a comfortable weekend at the Grand Traverse Resort.

Lovely property

Lovely location, tucked away in a private wooded area, only minutes from anything you possibly would want to do in Traverse City or Sutton’s Bay. Literally seconds from a winery, and in the other direction you have the beautiful bay. We choose this property because were looking for a two bed room with king size beds and two bathrooms. This apartment has it’s own private entrance from the residence, and offered total privacy. The spacious living area with plenty of comfortable seating, included fireplace and very large TV to relax at the end of our day. Small kitchenette with full sized refrigerator, and bar with microwave came in handy. There is no stove or oven, but we ate out mostly. We enjoyed the private fenced in side yard where we grilled out one night, played cribbage and relaxed. There is a wonderful heated pool, a fire pit, as well as hot tub, on a well manicured patio. Bill our host is great guy, and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Styx, 123 Speakeasy, Cherry Festival and beware of the bear.

We came to Traverse City with old friends to see a concert and see our son, who owns a Speakeasy in town. Bill’s place meet all of our expectations. We loved that it was quiet and away from the crowd. The apartment was gorgeous and extremely clean. Bill was very hospitable and had everything we needed. When we come back would love to stay there again. Would highly recommend it, just don’t miss the bear coming up the driveway.
