Dear Keri, many thanks for your kind review and patience during your first day. Although we have anti surge suppression for the electrics, a quick double on/off power cut, caused the hot water GFCI to stay off. You located the problem and fixed it! We hope that you will return in the future.

Nightmare of a stay. Host was caught using audio and video recording cameras inside the home when we were there, using them remotely. We had young children in view of the cameras, and there were Alexa devices throughout the home that were remotely controlled as well without our consent. Host called the police on us when we unplugged the cameras (which was our legal right to do) and reported us for having a party when we had no such thing. He then threatened us with eviction the rest of the stay. Additionally, the house was dirty, with dishes and trash left throughout, dust, ants, stained towels, and there was no hand soap or paper towels upon arrival. We asked for him to help take care of it and he called us liars and refused to help. This stay has been reported to VRBO, who have done nothing to resolve it, and cannot stress enough the nightmare this man created for us during what was an expensive and highly anticipated stay. Avoid at all costs.

Very simple case of attemted fraud. The house was left by our staff in imaculate condition. They made up 9 fictitious statements the day after check in. We have a smart home. The house was left by them in a disgusting mess. VRBO have been excellent and our team was able to prepare the house for the incoming guests in good time. The authorities are pursuing the next course of action.

we had a great time at the property the location was great and close to lots of activity's for myself and the kids while still being quiet and comfortable at night. We loved the house!!

Perfect property in perfect location

This is a beautiful house that backs up to a beautiful beach. All the amenities you could want and the property owners/managers are super responsive and accommodating.

Great house, great location

This spacious house was just what we needed for family and friends to visit and hang out. Beach access and views are phenomenal. I plan to rent again as soon as they'll make it available!

We had a great stay.

You can't beat the location. Rooms were big and spacious. The decks were amazing. Nicolas was great at communicating with us. Overall we had a wonderful stay and can't wait to do it again.

Wonderful home

We loved staying at this home, being right at the beach! Everything was wonderful! We have 8 children and there was room enough for everyone. Chad checked us in and out and was very helpful.

Wonderful Beach Getaway

This was our first time staying in Sunset Beach and it was fantastic. The accommodations were exactly as shown on the website. On-site support to get into the property and answer questions was wonderful and always just a text away. The owner was responsive and all of the furniture and applicances were in great shape. Would gladly stay here again.

This is our family’s second trip to this property. The location is absolutely perfect! The house is exactly as described. The beds are very comfy, the kitchen is well supplied with everything you need, and having a washer and dryer was so nice to keep our towels and beach clothes laundered. Working with David was such a pleasure. He was always very responsive to anything I needed. We even had the opportunity to see a group of dolphins up close! I highly recommend this property.
Nothing like family game night.
Nothing like a little R&R on the beach!
The surfers in the group.
Never get enough beach time!

Quality Stay

Overall a quality stay. Communication with Nicholas prior to check in, at check in, and throughout stay was great. He was available and willing to accommodate all requests and was timely. Location of home is fantastic. Direct beach access (to a nice beach), and easy to get to/from home via vehicle. The home is above average and has everything we needed. Overall a good stay - if paying for beach access and location - worth it. If paying for the home, probably over-priced. Overall positive review.

Great house in a great location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property on Sunset Beach. There's nothing like stepping off your patio directly onto the beach. My kids had a blast building sand castles and boogie boarding. The house is nicely equipped and appointed. I loved listening to the waves crash and feeling the ocean breeze from both the master bedroom and while napping on the couch with the sliding doors wide open. Two fun diners are a block away and more restaurants are a short walk across the PCH, along with a nice natural grocery store, Mother's Market. Nicholas was great to work with and was kind enough to mail my watch back to me when I forgot it on the counter. We'd definitely return!

Amazing home in a great location

Our goal was beach and relaxation. This house offers that in a way that isn’t achievable with most places. The property is amazing. Sunset beach is a gem. Slower than Huntington or other hot spots. It’s quiet and peaceful. Some great little restaurants and diners within walking distance. The house is huuuge. Much bigger than the pictures let on. Do not hesitate to rent this property. There were not ants or bugs. The kitchen is fully stocked. Couldn’t have asked for more. Nicholas is also an amazing host. Thank you for everything!

Great beachfront location

Just finished 7 days at this beach front property. Nicholas was very easy to deal with and helpful when we arrived. The house is in a great location, beach is not too crowded and several restaurants were within walking distant. The house is a little dated but has a very nice floor plan for entertaining. When we arrived the house had not been completely cleaned but the owner told me that another family had just left a few hours earlier and their cleaning lady left unexpectedly (these things happen). Most the rooms were ok but the downstairs room had a pretty strong odor. We washed all the linens and it was better after that. Overall we had a pleasant experience. If you are ok with a house not being 100% perfect (needs some tlc) but are looking for a great beach location, big open house and easy check in and out this may be the perfect house for you.
