The Willow Cabin - Luxury Cabin on the Creek close to attractions

I invite you to come stay at The Willow Cabin where you have no choice but to relax. This is a real all-wood cabin with a peaked roof open to the top. The wood gives off an earthy smell that hits you as soon as you walk in whisking your life stresses away as though they were swept away by the creek that runs out back. Walk around for a minute...take it all in...then start a fire in the stone fireplace that was crafted by one of the most revered stone masons in the northern panhandle...or maybe cook a meal in the giant kitchen while your family sits at the counter bordering the kitchen to keep you company. Go outside to play cornhole, take a walk by the creek, or have a beer on the deck. You could always soak in the outdoor hot tub until you retire to bed.

The Willow has a master suite on main, a huge kitchen, a stone fireplace, and a three-sided enormous deck with two sides covered. The master suite has a separate soaking tub and a shower, a king size bed, and HD TV. The second floor supplies two more bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with a full over queen bunkbed. The second floor also has a full bath with separate tub and shower, and a loft overlooking the main floor.

The Willow is 5 minutes from everywhere you want to be in the area. Downtown Wheeling is under ten minutes. Oglebay Resort with its three golf courses, skiing, hiking trails, and multiple restaurants is under 5 minutes. Wheeling Island Racetrack and Casino is within ten minutes. Cabela’s superstore and the Highlands Shopping Plaza is ten minutes away.

Location is somewhat remote (no cell service, but good wifi), but right on a road so traffic was noticed at night. Convenient to Oglebay and town, though.Excellent kitchen, even for large meals! Cabin was perfect for our weekend couples getaway. Beautiful, quiet location close to all the local attractions. Extremely clean and comfortable with high-end kitchen and relaxing wood-burning fireplace. The attached garage space was a welcome bonus given the snow storm and frigid temps over the weekend. Spent quite a bit of free time sitting in front of the fireplace relaxing and enjoying our getaway with friends. Josh was quick to respond to questions leading up to our stay…would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others visiting the area.

Great place to gather with friends or family. Plenty of space to visit for different age groups, outside on the wraparound deck, on the barstools facing the kitchen, out on the lawn or around the fire pit, upstairs in the lounge/loft overlooking the family table or at the pub table for four. Great cooking area and counter spaces, enough bathrooms for all. My family really enjoyed their stay, especially seeing the lightning bugs at dusk and being surrounded by the woods!

Beautiful, well-appointed, spacious log home in setting of rolling hills and stream in northern panhandle of WV. Convenient to daughter's graduation from West Liberty University as well as day trips to surrounding counties. 10 minutes from downtown Wheeling/town center market/restaurants and bars with live music.
