We thought it was so cool that you were coming back to Mount Gretna after visiting as a teenager. We hope it was a perfect visit. Many things are probably different, but we hope you found most of them the same. We know it was nostalgic for you, and special to share it with your loved ones.

Mount Gretna is a quaint, unique area for sure! The peace and quiet is what most guests end up returning year after year for! Please come again soon.

Yes, it is a historic cottage, built in 1920, but is very spacious and great for families! We are glad you found it peaceful.

The kitchen is really nice, and very well-equipped for travelers. We love that you found it clean and comfortable. We will pass your suggestion along about the TV. Modern upgrades are always nice! We are afraid the description of the stairs as, "treacherous," may give future guests the wrong impression. While the cottage is not handicap accessible, the staircase has a sturdy handrail, and with care, even older adults should have no issues.

With 2.5 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms - there is plenty of space for a group of couples or friends. We agree! Thanks so much, James for your 5-star review. We would love for you to stay here again anytime.

This cottage is STOCKED with board and card games - we absolutely love that you took advantage of them! We have a feeling memories were made that weekend. We would love for you to come again, perhaps during a cooler time of year. This cottage is available year-round. Thanks for being great guests.

We are very sorry you found the air conditioners like that, and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. The cottages in Mount Gretna are very old - some over 100 years. Certain times of the year can bring out what may be referred to as a mildew-coming from the trees, rain, and limited sun. That being said, we let the owners know right away. New air conditioners will be replacing the old ones in two of the bedrooms very soon.
