This is a great and comfortable place for a family of four. Great base of operations for our explorations on the west side of South Dakota. It's nice to have a home to stay in with a full complement of, well, home stuff :-).White-tailed deer pretty much every day, too.
Awesome place! Great communication. If we are in the area we will be back. Place is clean and packed with amenities, kids wanted to have a fire but there was no pit at the time but that’s ok, I won’t let that stop this place from getting a 5 star review.
This property was absolutely perfect for us. Very clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Plenty of room for our dog to run and play. It was also nice having an outside water spigot for washing our side by side after trail riding. We will definitely be booking the Historic Ranger Station again. Thank you Wendy for offering this beautiful property for our awesome getaway!
This cabin was perfect for our trip out to the Black Hills! The kids loved their space in the loft and the front porch views do not disappoint! We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone interested in visiting the Black Hills area!
Love this cabin, it was extremely peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay there. Wife wanted to stay longer. Thanks so much for sharing your place with us.
We took a short sight-seeing trip to South Dakota and this was the perfect place to stay - a great location! Not too far from the spectacular sights to see. A very nice quiet beautiful little cabin with all the comforts of home, it is equipped with everything! My hubby wants me to mention how the bed is so comfy; I am picky about beds and i loved it too! We saw deer and turkey every morning!!! Another nice bonus: a washer and dryer - we went home with clean clothes! Our only problem was that our stay was too short!!!! Thank you Wendy for sharing your cabin with us!
Beautiful place to stay and in the middle of anything you may want to go see.

A great stay overall! Great location and beautiful porch to enjoy it all. The cabin was fully stocked with anything that you could need. It was very clean and well maintained. We did have trouble with the AC unit while we were there and had one night without it but Wendy was great to work with and was prompt in addressing the issue.
Wendy was an AMAZING host! The property was absolutely gorgeous and stocked with everything you could imagine!
We loved the full kitchen inside and the grill on the porch! It made making meals a breeze!
We are already looking to book this property again for our anniversary in 2027!
The property was beautiful loved walking it every morning with my pup, they had everything you could possibly ask for, it made a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend
