This property was perfect for our family’s little get away! Not far from the Nemo Merchantile, which is one of our places to grab a bite when we are in town. Gorgeous property to enjoy breakfast and supper on the patio in the cool weather and watch the wildlife. Looking forward to booking here again in the future!

An exceptional property. Excellent location for Black Hiils day trips. The host is extremely responsive to messages and went out of her way to help with any questions we had. Highly recommend this rental for anyone looking for something extra special.

Clean, Quiet and enjoyable

The cabin is located in a very beautiful part of the Black Hills. Very close to an oil road, yet in a very quiet area. The owners take pride in the quality and cleanliness of the cabin. I would highly recommend for a couple or a couple with a few younger children.

Great, peaceful

If you're looking for a peaceful place to get away from it all, this is it. Dan and Trisha have done a nice job with this bunkhouse, everything you need within. Great listening to the running creek while sitting on the porch or drifting off to sleep in the bedroom. Very nice cabin.

Didn't want to leave

The cabin is actually what is in the description. Inside the bunkhouse , it is cozy, relaxing and homey. The bunkhouse is in a "community"- but the property sets off the road. Every night, my husband and I would sit on the porch, enjoying the great weather and deer walking on the property. We didn't want to leave! When we go back to SD, the bunkhouse is where we will stay!!

We are so happy you found our Bunkhouse so enjoyable! The peaceful noise of the creek and the wildlife are some of our favorite parts of our cabin in the Hills, too. We hope you are able to come back sometime!

The first day of Spring in the Black HIlls

Just to prove it snows in the black hills in the spring we enjoyed a great visit to a beautifully appointed, perfectly decorated and comfortable cabin. Luckily we had a one ton Chevy pickup with four wheel drive or we would have been hiking in from the road as the driveway had over a foot of snow on it in some places. But that is the risk you take in visiting Nemo this time of year. Once we got in the cabin it was really hard to leave, it was just wonderful. Thank you so much for sharing your very beautiful property.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. So peaceful after a day of craziness in Sturgis and area (because of bike week). Well appointed cabin. And the Black Hills area provided some of the best motorcycle riding I have ever experienced!

Private, peaceful and relaxing

Wonderful place to recoup after a long day of site-seeing. Excellent reference materials and pictures about the areas history. Loved the zone temperature control in the cabin. Last but not least the sound of the babbling brook while sitting on the front porch was mesmerizing.

The perfect spot to unwind

The bunkhouse was the perfect place for our family of three. Check in/out was very easy and communication with the host was always good. The location was just what we were looking for, private with great views, central to many activities, and great amenities including a heated floor and two toilets! We enjoyed roasting s’mores by the fire and playing frisbee near the creek. We look forward to returning to Nemo someday!
