The house is large and stays fresh all summer long, it has the charm of the old with the comfort of the modern. Meals outdoors in the freshness of bamboo or indoors for in the different spaces offered by this old building with monumental fireplace, vaulted room, old parquet ... many activities in scrubland, stroll in the pine forest, swim or picnic river picnic, entertainment parks, tree climbing, horse riding center and Roman cultural tours Nimes 11 km away (the arenas, the square house ...) Excellent séjour à Poulx

Excellent séjour à Poulx. La maison est une vieille bâtisse mais super chouette et très agréable à vivre. La proximité de la boulangerie (maison d'à côté) est top, le petit déj dehors avec les croissants tout chaud (qu'on va chercher encore en pyjama), c'est bien sympa. Propriétaire à l'écoute et de bon conseil. Merci de votre accueil.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette très belle maison, parfaitement aménagée et équipée et décorée avec goût. Elle est située à 10 minutes de Nîmes dans un petit village au calme, c'est idéal pour visiter la région (pont du Gard, descente en canoë, Avignon, Nîmes bien sûr, ...) Petit plus : la maison d'à côté est une bonne boulangerie.

Charming old house in an ideal location

This large old house is full of atmosphere and character, but has been sensitively modernised to include all the necessary modern conveniences, while retaining many original features. It is ideal for a family or two couples as the bedrooms ( 1+3)are separated by the upstairs sitting room, with a bathroom in each wing. It is very well equipped, with a plenty of comfortable seating both inside and out and the terrace and garden are ideal for relaxing in the sun. It is in a charming old village, with the baker right next door and a small supermarket within walking distance. The village is peaceful and quiet and the local people were very friendly. Poulx is an ideal location for visiting the many attractions in the local area, and our explorations included Pont du Gard, Arles, Nimes, Montpellier, Avignon, the Camargue and the Cévennes. The owner, Marine, met us on arrival and kept in touch via text to ensure that our stay was going smoothly and to suggest places to visit. She quickly responded to a couple of problems we had early on in our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this fascinating area and fascinating old house.
