Two of us rode bikes every day including riding from the Swartz Bay Ferry to the property. We did 2 additional rides around Victoria and finished with 26 miles on the Galloping Goose Rail Trail. Great beach access for walking and the views from the suite are stunning. It is the perfect place for 2 couples or a family of 4.

Best view of Willows Beach, lovely property with very responsive hosts. The venue was perfect for our getaway of 4 friends of more than 40 years! Thanks for everything.

The location and view were fantastic - thoroughly enjoyed my coffee while watching the sunrise! The place was very clean, conformable and well stocked. There were stores/coffee shops you could walk to and the outdoor space was also lovely. The only problems I had was sleeping - as it is a basement suite there were a couple of nights where I could hear the walking in the suite above. Generally this doesn't bother me however once or twice it went on almost all night and kept us awake. Despite this I would still return for another visit.

This place is magical. Right on the beach near Willows Park, so perfect for walking or paddleboarding. It's bright, clean and convenient, and the outdoor space is a pleasure to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Lovely location, right on Willow beach, We saw an orca and otters! I The oak bay neighbourhood is really nice and chill. Only 15 mins in center of town. The property was clean and tidy with comfy beds.We had a great time.

The suite was very pretty, clean and comfortable. The location is excellent and anyone staying will enjoy sitting on the muskoka chairs watching all the ever- changing beach activity. Some nice short hikes nearby, great neighbourhood eating spots and a lovely farm market. So I do recommend this suite. One thing to mention that cast a negative pall to our stay was the long list of assigned chores upon check out. With the cleaning fee paid, this was unexpected.

Colin and Cindy were very welcoming and checked in throughout my stay. Their home is gorgeous and the suite was just perfect for our stay. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped, the space was super clean and the view can’t be beat. Thank you so much for a lovely stay !! I hope to be back again !

Upon reading reviews I see that the owners will leave a response with a reason for whatever might not have been positive in a review--understanding that, I have to leave an honest review. The property was spotless and the location was gorgeous. Waking up to a beautiful sunrise over the water every morning was so nice. We enjoyed daily walks up to Cattle Point and sat on the benches watching the seals and looking at the beautiful mountains in the distance. I have been coming to Victoria for 25 years since my brother moved here so we don't come for vacations but to visit him. Just a couple of observations. The ceiling coming into the property from the outside was so low my husband had to stoop down, he is 6'3". I messaged the owners the first night about options for TV viewing (whether the TV was a smart TV so we could watch Netflix) but I never received a response. The next communication was the departure instructions the day before we checked out. The space was very cold when we got there, no heat was on and it was 64 degrees. We did not know how to turn on the heat as there were no instructions. Also, leaving cash for "movies"? What movies? Why cash? Could it not be included in the cost of the space? There was just one trash bag so we would have had to purchase an entire box if we needed more than one.
