About this property

Beautiful Perigourdine

Very nice house with large garden (3000m ²) in full heart of one of the most beautiful villages of France in Black Périgord. Many activities in the village (tennis, swimming pool ...) and in the vicinity (visits, golf, mountain bike, canoe-kayak, equestrian center).
Only 2 minutes walk from all shops, you will have a large landscaped garden of 3000m². The house is equipped with a large terrace with a superb view;
You will have access to the whole accommodation which comprises on the ground floor: a bedroom, a pantry, the kitchen, the bathroom, the toilet and a large living room with fireplace. Upstairs two bedrooms, a water point with toilet and a landing with an extra bed for one person;
The house is equipped with internet and numerous brochures of places or activities that we have practiced. We will be happy to give you feedback on the experience we have had.
The neighborhood is very quiet and a two minute walk from the center of the village with all shops (bakery, butcher, laundry, grocery, hairdresser etc ...)

The cleaning is not charged but the linen costs 15 € per person per stay
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.

Lovely family home with a fantastic garden and terrace

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely family home- it has everything you could possibly need. The beds were really comfortable and we spent lots of time in the dining room or on the terrace. The village is only a 5 mins walk and there is lots of choice of restaurants and bars. The surrounding area is full of castles and medieval villages and the Dordogne river , for canoeing and water sports- something to everyone!! We loved all of it!!

Felt very much at home.

We stayed in Guillaume’s house for 4 weeks. It was perfect for us, felt homely, great garden for entertaining and Belvès… what a perfect place to stay, so much to do and always something happening. The house is in a perfect location, a short walk into town, where there is a lovely choice of restaurants and bars, shops and a great local produce store where you can get your morning bread and croissants (what’s not to love!). The house had everything we needed and more and Guillaume was a perfect host, always on hand if you needed anything. We would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.

Classic car to Dordogne

A clean and tidy house which was well appointed and comfortable; mind you it was such dry and hot weather we spent most of the time outdoors. The road to the house is VERY narrow.... driving a 1966 MGB this wasn't too difficult but I wouldn't like to do it in a Range Rover!! Guillaume was very helpful both in the run up to our arriving and if we had any queries when we were there. Belves is a lovely town with good shops and plenty to see and can all be done on foot. One cautionary note for UK visitors: many of the plug sockets are the older type of French ones and do not take modern UK/EU adapters. Luckily Guillaume has some trailing lead modern multi sockets that can be plugged in. We couldn't find any USB sockets so take one with you if you want to recharge phones etc.. Thank you Guillaume for a lovely stay.

Maison et jardins agréables

Une grande maison, confortable avec tout le nécessaire. Certains équipements sont vieillissants. Il fait très chaud en été dans les chambres du haut. Un jardin entièrement clos, beaucoup de moustiques en été. La maison est très bien située, proche de la piscine et du centre tout en étant au calme. il faut faire 15 min et + de route pour découvrir les pricnipaux points d'intérêt.

Très agréable séjour

Très heureux de notre séjour à Belves. Cette belle périgourdine est très confortable, avec tout le charme d’une maison de famille. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la terrasse et le jardin ombragés. Quelques petits rafraîchissements amélioreraient encore cette impression. Le village est beau, animé et qui plus est accessible à pied, avec commerces et même piscine. Nous avons également profité tout un tas de superbes balades, visites et découvertes dans les environs. En résumé, tous les ingrédients pour des vacances très réussies.

Charmantes Ferienhaus in Belvès

Wir verbrachten eine wunderbare Woche in Guillaumes charmantem Ferienhaus. Es liegt in einer ruhigen kleinen Straße und man geht nur wenige Minuten zum pittoresken Ortskern. Das Haus wie auch der Garten sind großzügig geschnitten und wir fanden alles vor, was wir für unseren Aufenthalt benötigten. Abends konnten wir auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf das Tal entspannen. In der Umgebung gibt es sehr viele interessante Ausflugsziele. Die Kommunikation mit Guillaume verlief absolut unkompliziert und vertrauensvoll. Danke dafür.

Leuk huis in mooie omgeving

Leuk huis met mooie grote tuin in een leuk stadje. Communicatie met eigenaar is goed. Douchestang was kapot en werd meteen gemaakt. Matrassen van de bedden zijn aan vervanging toe. Verder een prima huis met alles erop en eraan.

Heerlijke vakantiewoning in Belves

De vakantiewoning heeft een intieme huiselijke sfeer waar je jezelf meteen thuis voelt en is van alle gemakken voorzien. Ook de schaduwrijke en geheel afgezette tuin was een paradijs voor onze hond. Wij hebben het er uitstekend naar onze zin gehad en komen zeker nogmaals terug. Belves zelf is een aanrader en ligt in een zeer aantrekkelijke regio, waar veel mogelijkheden zijn om actief, passief of cultureel vakantie te vieren.

A Truly Wonderful stay in Belves

Everything about Guillaume's house at Belves exceeded our expectations. The location, just a two minute walk from the nearest boulangerie and a magnificent view of Belves, were just one of the highlights of our stay. Our Dachshund Chorizo LOVED the huge fully enclosed garden with magnificent trees and flowers. The house itself was absolutely charming and offered every comfort for enjoying the indoors and outdoors for relaxing and eating. Guillaume was a terrific host - quick to provide info when needed but also giving us full privacy during our stay. We hope to be back next year!

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour, dans cette maison idéalement située sur les hauteurs de Belves, au calme, avec un grand jardin. Cette maison de famille est confortable et spacieuse, même si les chambres de l'étage sont un peu désuètes. Nous avons bien apprécié les derniers aménagements effectués par Guillaume, le propriétaire très attentionné (lave vaisselle, salle de bain ...).
