The home is located perfectly on the river and a short walk to shops and restaurants. Host was responsive and very nice. Appointed nicely, very nice bed linens amenities. A wonderful stay.

The house was perfect. View of the river and nice seating outside. Clean and had everything we needed for our stay, even a complimentary bottle of wine which was very nice. Located within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was even more lovely in person! Very nicely decorated and beautiful water views out many of the windows. We enjoyed the porch and patio. There were walkable restaurants and some shops but a great decor store was right next door! The host was most helpful and informative, and my questions were answered quickly.I don't feel anyone who choses the Chateau will be disappointed and will have a wonderful time!

Great location overlooking the river. Super clean house with everything we needed for a great stay. Easy walking distance to everything downtown. Nice suggestions from the hosts of things to do and places to eat. We would come back the next time we are in the area.

Enjoyable stay

Beautifully decorated home. The host thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed plus some. We grilled one night and everything we needed was there. It was very peaceful sitting outside watching the river. There were trains as well but they were not that disturbing! The host answered any questions we had in a very timely manner.

The pictures do not do this house justice. It is absolutely wonderful!!! The house is beautiful the view is beautiful and a great location to shops food etc. Sheila is a fantastic hostess. I highly recommend this property!!!!

Just Perfect

My mother unexpectedly passed away and it was a little sanctuary for a few days during a very hard time. The attention to detail was wonderful . The river always calms my soul.

Girls gathering

Growing up in the Bettendorf, LeClaire is always a great place to stay when returning to the QC. This house was perfect! It has an excellent view of the river and the trains pass by. The house is immaculately clean with well supplied kitchen, bathrooms and wonderful bedding. There was a Christmas tree in living room. It was like coming back home. Christmas carols were playing on the streets of LeClaire. We spent 3 nights and never left this lovely little town. We will return and stay at the Chateau again!

Great house, great location

This is our fourth time staying at this house and as always, it’s perfect. Within walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants!

Girls weekend

Great location to walk to dinner. Plenty of room for five. Fully stocked kitchen. Excellent river views and nice outdoor furniture and provided firewood.

Great location!

Had such a fun girl's trip! Great shopping, libations and food. The house was perfect. So clean and the front porch was great for wine, a fire, watching the river and hanging out. We'll be back!

Annual Girl's Trip

Our group of 5 friends had a wonderful time during our 4 night stay on our Annual Girl's Fall Trip while we visited LeClaire and stayed in this beautiful home. We enjoyed the fantastic views of the Mississippi River and having our home based right in the midst of the town shops, and restaurants. It is beautifully decorated and very well stocked. The Dining Room table worked out great to play games, and we enjoyed sitting out on the front patio and also using the fire pit. Sheila was great in answering our questions when planning our trip. Parking was great in the private drive-way and check-in was super easy. Everyone in LeClaire was very friendly and welcoming. The Information Center downtown was very helpful. If the opportunity arises, we would love to come back to LeClaire and stay here again!

6-Pack Tribe Girls Weekend Getaway

We have been friend's for 30+ years and we celebrated just that this weekend. The house was absolutely perfect for the 6 of us & within walking distance of everything we wanted to do!! We are already talking about doing this yearly. Life is too short & this was perfect for celebrating our ever lasting friendships!!

Can't beat the location

This house was perfect for our family and the location is ideal for walking to the shops, restaurants, coffee houses, brewery, distillery and winery along Cody Road. The property was better than described and the set up worked well for our group. The main bedroom with its own bath on the first level was perfect for my wife and I. Our son, daughter-in-law and granddaughter used the upstairs bedrooms, and had their own bath, as well (also on the first floor). The house was spotless and there was plenty of extra pillows and blankets, if needed. The front patio with its firepit and well-stocked supply of wood has a spectacular view of the river. Sheila was very responsive and we will definitely be staying here again.

Amazing!!

We had an amazing stay! Everything was perfect, from location (beautiful view), process (super easy), house (pictures don’t do it justice!) and communication, Sheila is a wonderful, easy to talk to and gracious host. Don’t scroll past this gem!!

Perfect for a friends get together!

The River Chateau was very clean, great view of the Mississippi and had everything you needed for a relaxing stay. We parked our cars in the driveway and didn't need them until we left LeClaire.

girls trip

we had a girls trip to celebrate that one from our group recently retired from work. the house was wonderful and had plenty of room for all of us. the location was perfect. we only had a short walk to everything in town. and the fire pit was the best way to sit and enjoy the view!

Very nicely done!

This lovely spot was just as pictured but better. Exceptionally clean, nice towels, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen with spices even. Comfortable couch with a great view. The patio overlooking the river is perfect for sunrises or evenings with a glass of wine. Do check out the winery, just a short 2 block walk. The decor is really well done and very inviting. A favorite VRBO for sure! Can't say enough good, there wasnt a single negative!
