"The Chalet in the Stars" is located 300 m from Vercland gondola to Samoens in the Grand Massif ski area (260km of slopes) and 3 km from the village of Samoens and 1.5 km from the village of Morillon. It is on the hill at the edge of the forest with a magnificent view of the valley Giffre.

The chalet with a total surface of 300m2 has been completely renovated in 2017. It has 7 bedrooms, each equipped with a private bathroom with walk-in shower. Two of the bedrooms have bathtubs.

The large living room of 100m2 is composed of a fully equipped kitchen open to the dining room and the living room. Here you will spend wonderful moments with your family and friends in absolute comfort and in a peaceful mountain chalet atmosphere.

A communal path provides access to the gondola through the forest in 7-10 minutes walk. Shuttles that run between the villages and serve the gondola also pass the property (stop 400m from the house).

Very Nice Chalet With a Superhost

The chalet and it's owner were absolutely wonderful. The only 4/5 stars comes from the steep hill to walk between the chalet and the ski lift. However, if you are in good shape, it shouldn't be a problem.

Lost in the woods

We absolutely loved the chalet and the trek through the woods to the Gondola. We were lucky to hire equipment at the top and were able to leave it each day at the shop. The nursery slopes are on 2 levels but there is a bus to transfer you up and down if needed. Morillon is a 20min walk away for shopping needs or if you have transport Samoëns is a 5min drive away.

A perfect location with a super host

We were with 8 adults and 6 children and enjoyed this amazing place: big common area where the kids could play, big separate rooms with each their own bathroom, great kitchen, washing machine, ... Michal answered all of my 30+ questions related to skiing, schools, accomodation, etc... at all times. He will make sure you have everything you need to have a pleasant stay. The ski gondola is a 3m drive and there is enough parking space. There was no snow around the chalet, so impossible to ski down to the chalet. But these are minor things in comparison to the great place we got. I highly recommend this place!

Très agréable séjour dans une belle région.Chalet confortable. Nous étions une famille de 13 personnes, avec enfants adultes, et petits-enfants de 17 ans à 4 ans. Les jeux dans une chambre du chalet ont été appréciés ainsi que la table de ping-pong, bien utilisée par les adultes. Les vélos ont trouvé place dans le petit chalet de remise, à l'abri.L'équipement dans la cuisine était bien suffisant pour des vacances.Le propriétaire, M. Michal Berne, était très à l'écoute et attentif au bien-être de ses locataires.Bon souvenir de Vacances !

Tout simplement fantastique !

Le Chalet dans les Etoiles propose tout ce qui est nécessaire pour des vacances au ski avec notre grande famille: - 7 chambres et autant de salles de bain pour que chacun ait son espace; - Une vaste pièce principale où on peut se retrouver ensemble; - Un local pour ranger les skis/snowboard ou tout autre matériel de sport; - Suffisamment de place pour stationner tous les véhicules; un accès piéton direct à travers un sous-bois pour rejoindre les télécabines (Michal nous l'avait conseillé et nous ne regrettons pas de l'avoir écouté: tous les sportifs, même les Piou-Piou de 4 ans ont préféré emprunter ce chemin que rallier le domaine skiable en voiture); - Du calme loin des usines à touristes, tout en restant à proximité des commerces et de la station... C'était top ! Si vous venez skier à Samoëns, les loueurs de matériel situé à Samoëns 1600, en haut des télécabines proposent de laisser chaussures, skis et batons dans un local chauffé pour rejoindre ensuite les logements sans être obligés de porter le matériel des plus jeunes. On a testé chez Mountain Ski Shop et là aussi, on a reçu un super accueil. ça donne envie de revenir !

Séjour montagne/ski au top

Une semaine de ski au top au chalet de Michal. Chalet de qualité avec de beaux volumes pour la pièce de vie. Nous étions 13 dont 6 enfants et chacun y a trouvé son espace. Etage des chambres au RDC avec 1 SDB par chambre très fonctionnel au moment du retour des pistes. Propreté à l'arrivée impeccable et petite attention avec la corbeille de fruits que nous avons apprécié. Accès télécabine du Vercland à partir du chalet à pied par un sentier, mais attention dénivelé important, difficile avec des enfants équipés pour le ski. Ne pas oublier les chaines pour le véhicule, peut s'avérer indispensables pour accéder au chalet. Manque peut etre un "sèche chaussures" de ski! Communication au top avec Michal! Je recommande vivement!

UN SEJOUR DE REVE

Un temps peu clément, entrecoupé d'averses et d'éclaircies, nous a privés de quelques randonnées dans cette région de rêve. De ce fait nous avons pu profiter de cette magnifique maison : l'emplacement, la configuration , la qualité des matériaux, les espaces ont permis à chacun (enfants ,parents et grands parents) de se retrouver autour d'un magnifique sapin de Noël bien garni pour la circonstance, avec de nombreux jeux de société . Bref la semaine fut trop courte. Bien qu'il ne fut pas sur place, notre hôte a réglé dans l'heure un petit problème d'intendance: réactivité exceptionnelle SATISFACTION TOTALE DE LA FAMILLE

Great stay - Nice house with a great location

We enjoyed our stay in the chalet really much. The rooms are nice and the large living room was perfect to get the whole family together. We definitely can recommend this house for other family’s or large groups of friends. The location is great and the access to the house was also good. Communication with Michal our host was really good and he helped every time when we had any questions.

Très agréable chalet avec vue

Le chalet est très confortable avec les chambres situées en bas ce qui permet de conserver la fraîcheur en cas de fortes températures et une très grande salle de vie à l’étage. Petit jardin plat avec bbq et vue sur les montagnes. Au calme au bout d’une voie privée et entouré de forêt, environnement très tranquille. Bien équipé et très propre. Le chalet est à 5 min en voiture de Morillon et de Samoëns et donc de toutes les activités. Propriétaire très sympathique, serviable et réactif à nos demandes.

Chalet parfait pour un groupe !

Michal est un hôte très accueillant et hyper arrangeant ! Le chalet donne une sublime vue sur la vallée. Par ailleurs, chaque chambre dispose d’une SDB, ce qui simplifie grandement la vie de groupe !

Bel endroit où l'on a envie de revenir

Ravi de notre séjour à Samoens dans ce superbe chalet, chaleureux, dans un bel environnement, superbe vu. Une salle de bain par chambre est plus qu'agreable pour les grandes familles....aucun soucis avec la prise et la remise des cle...juste un peti soucis , avant le départ pour trouver le téléphone d'abritel en france pour vous appeler .

We had a great time in chalet in the stars. It was very spacious for our group and well equipped. The bedrooms very comfortable and the living area great. WiFi could be better. The drive to the house would be challenging if there was snow. Chains would be necessary.

Summer Cycling Holiday

The location for all outdoor activities is perfect. We spent 4-weeks at the chalet, cycling mainly on the road, with 1-week of mountain biking. You are on world class routes as soon as you leave the door. Once back at the chalet after a long day riding, the outdoor space is vast and the view from the terrace is so relaxing and peaceful. The social space for any size group is ideal. There is also plenty of room to store bikes and equipment. Nearby there are a choice of very friendly places to eat and drink, and the lake down in Morillon was a perfect place to finish our rides and refresh.

We had a great time at Le Chalet des Étoiles. The places is gorgeuos, very confortable, and very clean. Unless you are willing to walk "a lot", you definetly need a car, but the sourroundings are very nice.

Het is een keurig huis. Ook voor 16 personen (vol) goed te doen. Alles volgens dd omschrijving.

Als je meer bent als 12 personen vraag dan om extra keukentafel. Naar de lift lopen is een beste trip. Wij hadden heel mooi weer. Dus zwetend boven. Maar wel skiënd naar het huisje terug. Een verwarmingsrek voor je skischoenen en een paar kapstokhaken op je kamer zou het huis voor in de winter compleet maken. De supermarkt (grote carafour) is op 10 minuten rijden. Ook de bakker op 5 minuten rijden. Een dag de weg naar huis onbegaanbaar (zonder ketting) door ijsvorming. Het skigebied is een echt familie gebied. Alleen druk bij een paar verbindingsliften. Het heeft niet echt uitdagende afdalingen. Maar wel hele lange afdalingen. Leuk ook tussen de bomen in. Geen stoeltjesliften met kappen dus bij slecht weer zal dat vast koud zijn. Al met al een leuke vakantie gehad. Nadeel het ligt verlaten. Voor kleine kinderen zou de wandeling naar de lift te ver zijn. Maar met de auto is het ook maar een paar minuten alleen is de helling mogelijk niet begaanbaar zonder ketting.
