Gironde stone house in a small village with shops
Independent access, large garden with trees that opens onto the vineyard.
One side of the cottage overlooks the village, the other side in the vineyards

Lovely Gite

We wre late arriving but Nathalie was there to greet us and quick to respond to any queries. The gite is wonderfully equiped both inside and out for families. The kitchen had planty of everything Masses of plates, cutlery glassware and cooking materials.

Comfort, nature and and amazing library!

A wonderfully characterful home for the six nights we stayed (it didn't seem long enough!) in a beautiful setting with the garden at the back opening onto vineyards, lots of birdsong and very peaceful. This is a wonderful base if you want to explore the wider region, or if you simply want to relax, sample fantastic wine from local chateaux that are within walking distance and browse the astounding collection of books that is housed at the gite! Nathalie is a most thoughtful and considerate host, everything provided that you could want. Thank you.

A notre arrivée, facilité par les explications, plan et photo, nous avons eu une visite de l'ensemble du logement avec les différentes consignes pratiques. Lors d'un apéritif, nous avons eu les conseils avisés de notre hôte pour les lieux de visites, restaurants, conseils parking, que nous avons suivi et qui a permis de découvrir la région sans encombres.Nous sommes ravis aussi bien du logement que de notre rencontre avec notre hôte qui est investie pour que nous passions un excellent séjour.

Repos au milieu des vignes

Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Saint Philippe d'aiguille. Le gîte est très confortable de par son équipement et sa grande surface (200m2).Il ne manque de rien. Le jardin est lui aussi très grand et on peut se mettre au soleil tout comme à l'ombre dans les transats ou les hamacs. Il est possible de faire des grillades sur la plancha ou le barbecue et de déjeuner ou dîner sous la tonnelle du salon de jardin. Nous avons profité régulièrement du terrain de tennis tout neuf disponible librement et de la table de ping pong. Nathalie est une hôte très sympathique qui fait en sorte que l'on ne manque de rien et qui nous a précieusement conseillés sur les visites à faire dans cette magnifique région.

A perfect place for visiting the vineyards of Bordeaux

Nathalie was the perfect host offering lots of advice and suggestions for our stay. The gîte is very impressive, very tastefully furnished & decorated, perfect for the three of us but would easily accommodate more. Nathalie has thoughtfully provided lots of extras such as the bikes & helmets. The garden has so many treasures; hammocks, dining area, loungers and the peaches are beautiful! We’ll definitely be back!

Wunderbare Ferienwohnung

Nathalie ist eine sehr freundliche und zugewandte Vermieterin. Immer hat sie Tipps für uns gehabt und auch Informationen recherchiert. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und wunderschön. Der Garten lädt zum Verweilen ein. Nachts lässt sich ein traumhafter Sternenhimmel beobachten. Wir haben die Zeit in Saint-Philippe sehr genossen.

Un séjour très agréable pour notre tribu, qui a été accueillie chaleureusement par les propriétaires, sympa et discrets, toujours à l'écoute si besoin. Le gite est spacieux et dispose de vraiment tout, niveau pratique et pour les loisirs notamment pour les enfants qui étaient enchantés. Nous avons pu faire connaissance de la Gironde, en faisant différentes activités à proximité et plus loin sur la côte. Des vacances bien réussies!

Nous avons été ravis de séjourner dans ce logement très agréable et très bien équipé. Nathalie et Benoit sont top. Un vrai bonheur de les avoir rencontré et d’avoir leurs recommandations pour les visites de la région. Ravis aussi qu’ils nous aient fait partager quelques moments de leur vie quotidienne. A Great Escape from the City

We stayed for two weeks. Just the two of us but there is room for more. We loved the spaciousness in the house. Nights were quiet, days noisy with the road right beside the house. The outdoor area, sitting beside the vineyard for late drinks, was fabulous. The poor internet connection was a major negative for us. The kitchen and dining room has very poor signal, the bedroom and entry room better signal but extremely slow speeds. Additionally, the router had poor security settings according to Apple. We traveled to the coast to Arcachon which was a fabulous day and not too long in the car. We traveled east to Beynac about two hours drive each way that was also fabulous. We spent time looking for good local markets. Not easy to find at all Saint Emilion is a beautiful town nearby. A good bistro in Puisseguen which is very close. You could walk there if the weather is nice. If you are happy reading a book rather than trying to do business or write a blog, then this is the perfect place. Nathalie is a great host and very friendly. We really appreciated spending time with her learning about winemaking in France.

Nous avons passé un très bon moment à st emilion. Nathalie est une hôte aux petits soins. Nos enfants ont eu le droit de profiter d'un trampoline acheté le jour de notre arrivée et monté le soir même pour qu'ils puissent y jouer rapidement! Nous avons aussi profité du tennis et de l'environnement au milieu des vignes . La maison est très spacieuse et très agréable! Un séjour qui nous laissera de super souvenirs! Un grand merci!

Un séjour vraiment très chouette.

Séjour très agréable dans une maison pleine de charme, confortable, spacieuse entourée d un beau jardin au milieu d un océan de vigne.un très bon accueil de la propriétaire. La région est à découvrir : visites culturelles, découverte des vignobles et de Bordeaux , très beau centre aquatique à proximité. On a vraiment bien profité de notre semaine. A recommander.

Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable en famille. La maison est très agréable: cuisine fonctionnelle, salle à manger et salon très agréable avec une belle bibliothèque a disposition, literie confortable et sans oublier le très grand jardin au milieu des vignes. Les enfants ont bien profité des jeux et des siestes dans les hamacs! Nathalie et son mari nous ont accueilli très chaleureusement! Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir!

Great apartment with lot's of outside space and possibilities

A spatious apartment. Where you can stay very comfortably. Good beds. During our stay the weather could have been better, but there are loads of facilities: BBQ, tennis, badminton, ping pong, frisbee, bikes, etc. There was more then enough to do for kids (besides having working wifi). Very friendly host who helped us to a nice small wine-tasting. I'll definately keep this property in mind for the future.
