Relaxing place to stay and the hosts are lovely. Our stay was made even more special with their extra touches. Would recommend, however make sure you have a car. The garden is beautiful.

Peace and tranquillity

A very comfortable and well appointed Gite. Heated pool a bonus once we asked for the temperature to be increased to make swimming more comfortable. Facilities generally were second to none. Would definitely book again if holidaying in the Dordogne.

Great. stay!

Our Hosts, we’re very friendly and walked us through the property upon arrival. There are beautiful gardens and a pool that is well maintained, clean and heated. A very delightful stat. The location is a bit removed from Saint Emillion so you need to determine where you want to be and how much driving you want to do when visiting this region.

Lovely Rural Property, Lovely Owners.

Lovely rural Gite, perfect for time away from the crowds. Kind and helpful owners, great facilities with a lovely garden to enjoy time outdoors. Great swimming pool too. Train station15 minutes away - perfect for our day trip to Bordeaux. Lovely area, St Emilion is a must see and nearby village in Ruch has a good value restaurant with a very welcoming owner (about 25/30 minutes walk and a must for a leisurely lunch and a stroll). Car is a must to make the most of time available at the gite. SuperU only 15 minutes away so plenty of opportunity to stock up on food and drink. We stayed 10 days for a great break with plenty to see and great facilities to make our stay a real pleasure.

Rural paradise

An exceptional gîte in a glorious setting of absolute calm. The hosts are a most charming and hospitable couple who have provided everything a visitor could possible need for their stay. The quality of everything is top class - the added bonus of really personal touches (home-made jams/ yoghurts/ bread plus produce from the garden) make the visitor feel really welcome. The gîte itself has been very well set up, with high quality workmanship. It would be really easy to settle down here for the whole summer! You need to be prepared for travel along small country roads to get anywhere but that becomes a plus after being here for a day or two. There are many local towns to visit, vineyards to visit and wonderful countryside to explore. Proximity to the Dordogne river offers scope for summer sports, walking, cycling along the river paths or just river-watching.

A charming place to relax

We spent an excellent time in this charming gite which offered everything you wish for during vacation: A superb surrounding, a large, wonderfully kept garden and property, and a lovely, very clean apartment which is very well furnished and equipped. Reality even tops the online descriptions. Thanks to two terraces, a great pool (with ideal water temperature and set within the rolling hills of Bordeaux), and the huge garden, we spent as much time as possible outside enjoying scenery, nature and tranquility as well as plenty of sunshine. Denise and Jean-Claude provide a little heaven at a very reasonable price. Besides, they are excellent, warm hosts who also spoiled us with fresh figs, grapes and wine. The area is ideal for those who want to relax at the countryside (and have their bikes with them as we had) and also want to explore the Bordeaux region. Bordeaux, St. Emilion, the Medoc region, Archachon and many many more wonderful sites are nearby. Also, Denise and Jean-Claude offer a wealth of maps and tour descriptions for day trips or hiking and biking tours. Also, they gave us much information on local markets, events (like wine tastings) and restaurants, Ten days were too short to get to see and explore everything. We enjoyed a splendid vacation and highly recommend this gite. Thank you, Denise and Jean-Claude

Trés bon séjour.

Nous avons passé une agréable semaine au gite. Jean Claude et sa femme sont très accueillant et sont toujours disponible pour nous donner des conseils sur les endroits a voir et aussi le petit cadeau d arrivée qui fait très plaisir.La piscine chauffée est très appréciable surtout par notre fils qui veut maintenant emménager dans une maison avec piscine .Nous recommandons vivement ce gite.

Merci pour votre appréciation. La météo n'a pas été formidable, mais avec la piscine chauffée une bonne baignade est toujours bien appréciée par les enfants. Et puis quand le météo est moins bonne on trouve toujours des balades adaptées : je crois que vous avez bien apprécié le château de Duras et puis la visite de Bordeaux.

Gîte très accueillant au calme

Le gîte correspond parfaitement à la description et aux photos. Nous avons apprécié l'excellent accueil et la gentillesse des hôtes... Ainsi que les produits locaux et maison offerts à l'arrivée ! Les propriétaires vous renseigneront volontiers sur la région. L'endroit est calme et beau, idéal pour un séjour ressourçant.

Entspannter Erholungsurlaub in wunderschöner Umgebung. Idyllisch gelegen, ein Naturparadies!

Schönes gepflegtem Ferienhaus mit Geschmack und Stil eingerichtet, alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub wünscht. Sehr nette Gastgeber, sympathisch und hilfsbereit, schönes Grundstück, von den Gastgebern liebevoll bewirtschaftet. Der Pool ist herrlich. Ein wunderschönes Domizil für Ruhesuchende!

Court séjour découverte en Aquitaine

Accueillis par nos charmants hôtes, nous avons passé quelques jours dans un gîte impeccable et très bien équipé. Wunderbarer Platz zum Auftanken

Dieses romantische, sympathische Häuschen hat alles, was das Herz begehrt. Die Innenausstattung ist top, 2 Terrassen für Frühstück und Abendessen, Pool gleich nebenan und mitten in den Weinfeldern gelegen. Super nette Vermieter! Absolut empfehlenswert.

Wirklich gelungener Aufenthalt.

Nach einem ganz herzlichen Empfang, genossen wir in einem wunderschönen, wohl organisierten Haus mit traumhaftem Garten in absoluter Privarsphäre, leider nur 4 wunderschöne Tage. Den sehr gepflegten swimming pool haben wir aus Zeitgründen nicht genutzt, weil es in naher Umgebung so viel Interessantes zu sehen gibt. Die sehr liebenswürdigen Gastgeber haben uns in jeder Frage sehr geholfen, standen uns immer mit guten tipps zur Seite. Natur pur, wohltuende Ruhe, ausser den Rufen der Käuzchen. Wo kann man in Ruhe schlafen, ohne die Türen abgeschlossen zu haben? In L`Estebot. Wir können diese Gite voll und ganz empfehlen.

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine au gîte de L’Estebot. Nous avons très apprécié l’accueil de jean-claude et Denise, soucieux de notre bien-être, le gîte est très bien équipé, propre et décoré avec goût et avec des équipements de qualité. Rien ne manque. Nous avons aussi apprécié les échanges avec jean-claude et Denise qui sont très sympathiques. Nous n’hésiterons pas à recommander le gîte.

The property was beautifully presented, characterful, clean and well equipped.

If you require a relaxing holiday in a beautiful region of rural France, the tranquility of this property is perfect. It is still however, within easy reach of St Emillion, Bordeaux and Bergerac. Jean Claude and Denise, the owners, were superb hosts and clearly take pride in this property. It is beautifully presented and maintained. It is also very well equipped and met our every need. It is very possible that we would holiday in this region again, and that being the case, would not hesitate to stay here.

A lovely gite in the heart of the countryside.

We had a very warm welcome. The gite was excellently equipped with everything you could possibly need for the stay. It was blissfully quiet and had a pretty garden to sit out in. We didn’t try out the pool but it looked very inviting. We really had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back if we were in the area again
