The villa was lovely we had a fabulous time, however, my parents are 80 and the villa was a bit out of the way. I would recommend the villa as it was quiet and peaceful and not far from shops and restaurants as long as you enjoy a walk. The local taxi service offers an outstanding service.

Great villa!

We really enjoyed our 2 weeks in this villa. The villa was very well equipped; nice pool, garden and hot tube. You definitely need a car. Nearby you find a supermarket and a lot of restaurants. We can definitely recommend this villa!

Beautiful place to stay

We -2 adults and 1 kid- really enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Everything we needed was there even some toys for our kid. We loved the welcome package. The area around is very nice and can be reached in a short amount of time for shopping and restaurants.

Fabulous villa. Exceptionally helpful thoughtful kind hosts. Super comfortable beds. Welcome pack on arrival. Peaceful area. You probably need a car unless you are keen walkers. Shops close by tho and a selection of restaurants. Prices have risen quite significantly tho so be warned. Have stayed in Playa Blanca more many years and this Villa is one of the best properties by far.

Excellent communication with owners. We bought our Grandchild with us who was under 1. Cot and high chair available and with sheets all made up ready for arrival. Super king beds which were amazing. The villa and its garden were very well maintained. Showers were the only hinderance. No shower curtains so the floors became wet which was a bit of a nuisance. I reported to owners when we left the property so I’m sure it would be sorted. I would definitely return to this villa it was superb.

Villa was clean, tidy, freshly decorated and comfortable sitting areas inside, but the outside seating was slightly uncomfortable. Previous reviews mention the lack of any wind blocks, which would have helped as the exterior seating areas are nearly full time in the shade and have no wind blocks, likely very nice in warmer months, but slightly chilly for winter months. We found ourselves upstairs on the balcony most mornings and afternoons to catch the sun. The furniture outside is not all that comfortable for sitting and reading, as the only area was a daybed (but it’s in the wind). We struggled with the hot tub sadly as it doesn’t get hotter than 36/37 degrees (despite putting the temperature up to 40 degrees) which during the day was warm enough, but evenings when the temperature dropped (winter months), the temp of the hot tub dropped quickly limiting its use. We raised the concern with owner, but was told that 36/37 was hot enough and nothing else could be done. Overall, had a nice stay, this area of Playa Blanca is brilliant for relaxation and the villa is nicely appointed with modern kitchen and well stocked for cooking and relaxing inside.

Thank you for your comment and details and to have chosen our villa. I would like to provide details regarding the temperature of the jacuzzi which also depends on the ambient temperature and whether the jacuzzi is covered or not when it is not used. The maintenance person came expressly to take the temperature of the jacuzzi and it was almost at 38 degrees since he sent me a photo. We did not simply answer that it was enough but that 36 or 37 is the temperature recommended by the manufacturer and heat or cold is a very personal appreciation. I am sorry that on this aspect you are disappointed.

hopefully coming another time

Due to the Corona virus crisis we had to cancel our trip to Lanzarote one day before it would have started. Wecan not valuate the object but we assume that the house was perfect and everything as described. What we really can valuate is the communication with Lorena and Raphaël. It was always quick; all our questions were answered immediately and we got all the information we needed. When we had to cancel our reservation, the matter was resolved to our complete satisfaction by Lorena and Raphaël. We hope we can make up our journey to Lanzarote soon.

In March 2020 we had to cancel our planned trip to Lanzarote due to the Covid-pandemia. Lorena and Raphaël were very cooperative what we appreciated a lot and which is not a matter of course. Now, in November 2021 we made it to Lanzarote and had a wonderful week in Villa Basalte. We have rented houses for holidays since many years at many places in the world but Villa Basalte was the best we had until now. The Villa is situated in a very calm neighbourhood. The house itself is spacious, beautifully designed, and tastefully decorated. Kitchen and bathes were equipped with all the small things you need. Everything is maintained perfectly as is the wonderful garden (Strelizia Alba was flowering). The heated pool you can really use for swimming. And the Jacuzzi is huge. Communication with Lorena was always quick and a pleasure. We can recommend Villa Basalte absolutely and hope to return another time. Thank you Lorena and Raphaël! Best wishes Robert & Gabriele

Das Haus ist wunderschön, umgeben mit einem angelegten Garten. Alles wirkte gepflegt, sauber, ordentlich.Es ist eine sehr ruhige und "private" Gegend- gemacht für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Es könnte noch ein Tisch außen ergänzt werden zum Essen mit einem standhaften Wind- und Sonnenschutz. Und: Man sollte Wind mögen. :)

Das Haus ist genau wie beschrieben. Alles sehr gepflegt in einer Wohnanlage, die sicher ist. Der Garten bietet verschiedene Sitzplätze, um sich mal zurückzuziehen, was sehr angenehm war. Super villa, très bien équipée.Jardin magnifique, piscine réellement à 29/30°, top en hiver! Jacuzzi au top également. Très bonne literie, beaucoup de produit à ne pas acheter en arrivant (sel, poivre, sucre, café, produits d'entretien, de toilette...bref, beaucoup de bonnes attentions. Entretien jardin, piscine, jacuzzi en milieu de séjour. En résumé, tout était parfait, très certainement à l'année prochaine.

Our stay

A lovely property. We liked the space inside, even more the space outside with a private garden to enjoy, a lovely pool and jacuzzi. The villa is well equipped- for 2 couples, the upstairs bedroom is clearly superior to the one on the ground floor! The villa is quite close to a small shop (4 minutes) and 10-15 minutes walk to several restaurants/ cafes. A car is pretty well essential. Thanks to Lorena and Raphael for a great stay, Douglas

Traumurlaub in einer Traumvilla

Bereits der Vorkontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr angenehm und gut. Wir haben auch bereits vorab Tipps erhalten, bezüglich der Möglichkeiten um an einen Mietwagen zu kommen. Die vorab erhaltene Beschreibung für das Haus ist sehr informativ und alle Information hinsichtlich anreise , Lage und Zugangsmöglichkeiten sind exakt beschrieben. Die Villa selbst ist einfach ein Traum. Auf 2 Stockwerken finden bis zu 6 Personen sehr gut Platz. Die Villa war sehr sauber gereinigt bei der Ankunft und es gibt alles was man benötigt. Für die Gartenpflege kommt einmal die Woche ein Gärtner und für die Poolpflege kommt 2 mal wöchentlich ebenfalls jemand. Der Pool ist ein Traum, und ist wie beschrieben angenehm beheizt. Der Whirpool hat unserer kleinen aufgrund der angenehm warmen Wassertemperatur sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage der Villa ist etwas außerhalb in einer abgesicherten Wohnanlage sehr ruhig. Ein Mietwagen wird definitiv empfohlen. In wenigen Autominuten ist aber alles zu erreichen inklusive einem Wasserpark und Strände. Die Besitzerin Lorena, antwortete immer schnell wenn wir Fragen hatten. Es war rundherum ein gelungener Aufenthalt und wenn wir wieder auf Lanzarote Urlaub machen, dann ganz bestimmt in der Villa Basalte.
