The photo was taken in May 2009 on the Cowlitz River. During a difficult time of chemotherapy and radiation, I came to the river to be heal my mind, body and spirit. The sounds of the river, and the rich abundance of wildlife allows my parasympthetic nervous system to relax. It is at Wild Salmon Retreat that I feel most alive and I hope your spirits will be rejuvenated too. As a registered nurse, and soon to be nurse practitioner, I know the importance of needing to take time for ourselves and our health.
Debbie purchased this Cabin in 2006

Cabin was great!
Very much enjoyed our stay!! The cabin was clean and comfortable. Stocked with dishes and cookware. We would love to stay here again. Best part, even with a small difficulty was the lack of AT&T service! None of us touched our phone the entire time except to take pictures!! The river access was great too! Our pup loved swimming in the crystal clear water!
A comfortable romantic cabin in the mountains!
We had such a wonderful time at this little cabin. It was easy to find, very clean inside, they even had the heat on for us so we could warm up after a cold misty drive to get there. Even though it was only the two of us, it still felt cozy, for as spacious as it was. The fire was easy to get going, we had everything we needed for cooking, and the beds were nice and comfortable. The hot tub was the star of the show. It was perfect post skiing!!! We will definitely come back to this place again.
Cozy, rustic, dog friendly.
Place needs updating. Carpets, flooring, and counter tops are from the 70's.
Fabulous cabin, hot tub and wood stove
We had a great time at Debbie's Cabin! The cabin was clean, the beds were comfy and the kitchen had all the essentials we needed. We loved the wood stove and hot tub. Not to many cabin's we've stayed at have the wood stove, so this was a real treat. Wish we could have stayed longer! We'll definetly be back!
Cute and rustic
This is a cute, romantic, rustic place in the country. Far away from people. We loved that. The neighborhood was quiet and sweet. There is a community about 5 min away with gas and a small grocery store. We would definitely stay here again.
Everything was wonderful!
The cabin was well equipped with everything you would need. The hot tub was fabulous and very clean, with just the right amount of privacy. The shower head was in need of repair, water was spraying everywhere. Overall enjoyed our stay and loved the surrounding area.
Thank you for being wonderful guests and taking care of my cabin. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! I would have welcomed your call that the shower head broke and would have taken care of it promptly. I'm sorry for your inconvenience.
i hope you can come back again.
