Location was awesome, we arrived late in evening, and owner had everything set up for us, short walk to Old Quebec City. The Condo is very large, well equipped, and was extremely clean. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to visit Old Quebec City

What a view and what a location

Look out the window to the St Lawrence river and see cruise ships. Step outside and you are just a few steps to old town Quebec. Everything was as expected and it was very nice.

In town stay in Old Quebec City

Royal Dalhousie is rather like staying at a friends house. A really nice house. Greg and Pierre were always available and made the stay so pleasant. The apartment is very large and comfortable. The views are amazing. We were wondering if the boats coming and going would be noisy but we did not even notice them. There a great shops and restaurants and parks within walking distance. It was also nice for us to have a car because just 30 minutes away we found beautiful hiking in Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier. Although a car is not really needed unless you want to get out of the city or wan to avoid the hills and stairs. We would stay again and again!

Amazing Apartment

I booked this apartment originally for a stay with my husband and my parents. Unfortunately it turned into just my husband and I. That said, this apartment was amazing with two bedrooms at opposite ends, each with a bathroom that could be made private (one was en suite, the other could be closed off from the main living area at night and was connected to bedroom two). The location was perfect for a walking tour of old Quebec with a cafe a short walk away for my morning cup of Joe. The kitchen appeared well stocked with tools and spices/herbs. The view from the floor to ceiling windows looked out onto the St Lawrence sea way from the main area and master bedroom. Ample sitting and dining area, we would have been very comfortable with two couples or more. Parking is behind the building with in and out privileges so we could explore further afield when the temp dropped too much to spend all day outside. Will 100% recommend to friends/family, or stay here again should life bring me back to Quebec City.

Best location

We were 2 couples who spent 5 nights in Quebec City. The apartment was perfectly situated for exploring all areas. Parking was easy and allowed us to easily get out quickly when exploring the Falls and Ile D’Orleans. Great restaurant just around the corner. Everything you need for a home meal was also available. Watching the activity on the St Lawrence made it even more special. Will certainly come back. Merci!

Amazing property! Clean and wonderful location in Lower Quebec. A communal terrace with waterway views is appreciated. 2 large bedrooms and good sized bathrooms with deep soak tub/showers. The hosts were wonderful!!

Incredible Property

We had an incredible stay at the Royal Dallhousie. The pictures were amazing but truly couldn't capture how beautiful the rental unit was. It was spacious and clean and the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Saint Lawrence River couldn't be beat. We were able to watch the fireworks (Tuesdays and Thursdays in August) right from the living room! We are a family of five (three kids ages 7 to 11) and we had plenty of space for all of us to stretch out and the rental unit was equipped with everything we needed for our six night stay, It's located just across the street from a beautiful park, and within walking distance of nearly every attraction in Old Quebec and Petit Champlain. We really could not have done better. We are already planning our return trip because we loved it so much!

Perfect location, Spacious Accomodations

We had a fantastic time in Quebec City, largely due to our wonderful accomodations & the perfect locale. We were steps away from the waterfront & the heart of old Quebec City with convenient parking behind premises. Hence, it was easy to get out of the city to visit Mountmorency Falls & the Chocolatier & ice cream shop on the L'ile d'Orlean, the latter we went to twice for their heavenly dipped ice cream cones. The chocolate just melts in your mouth. Unbeknownst to us before our arrival, we had access to the rooftop terrace of our building. Beautiful views, especially of the Chateau Frontenac tower all lit up. The living area was very spacious as were the two bedrooms & bathrooms. We'd definitely stay here again. Had such a memorable stay. All the people were very friendly & everything was immaculate. Thank you to Gregory & Thomas for the wonderful stay!

The Royal Dalhousie is located in the heart of Place Royale. It is from this location that Samuel de Champlain constructed the first habitation; a farm and a shed. The location was named after Louis XIV and is one of the last remaining relics of 17th & 18th century buildings in North America.

All eight condos in the Royal Dalhousie offer breathtaking views of a park overlooking the St. Lawrence River, seen through 8-foot high windows. They also all have high ceilings, hardwood floors and exposed ceiling beams, which accentuate the rich history of these newly renovated condos.
