About this property

Serenity House on Lake Catherine with Private Boat/Swim Dock

A newly remodeled, 1300 square foot house located in a quiet cove on beautiful Lake Catherine. Wildlife abounds with deer, fox, cranes, geese and ducks. The 'Asian' style vacation home has a 30 foot vault ceiling with skylight at the top.

The loft overlooking the main living area provides extra twin sleeping beds, living and dining space. Both bedrooms are tastefully furnished with queen beds. The washer/dryer and kitchen appliances are all new. A private fishing/swimming/boat dock is available for lake recreational activities. Serenity House is located in a quiet gated community with access to golf, tennis and basketball courts, playground, swimming pool (available in the summer months), marina, and hiking and horseback riding at Lake Catherine State Park.

We are pet friendly, (2 dogs maximum) but approval is needed before acceptance. A $59 property insurance policy is required for all pets. Dogs must be kenneled when unattended with a 4 foot kennel and pad provided if needed. Our house can only accommodate six guests.

This was a great place, it was a ladies trip and we really enjoyed the house the dock and deck

It was really nice, clean and plenty of room, the beds were comfortable. we really enjoyed it, it was not to far from downtown Hot Springs and other places we checked out.

Nice Stay Near Hot Springs

We had a great girls trip at this home. Teresa and her husband were very welcoming and we liked knowing they were close by if we needed anything. The house was perfect for our group and was a short drive to downtown Hot Springs but far enough that we felt secluded. The beds were very comfortable and the back deck was perfect to sit out on and relax. We hope to come back again.

This was a very clean property, we enjoyed the quiet , and the bath row house was great to walk, we took a fishing charter and caught the limit on hybrid bass, overall a great experience.

Our stay was as advertised. From floating off the back dock to volleyball in the community pool, everything was great. Proximity to Hot Springs was perfect. Definitely worth the stay.

Wonderful stay

Well-equipped kitchen a big plus since we did lots of cooking! We particularly loved the spacious back porch overlooking the lake. Hosts were helpful and friendly. Wonderful property!

In town for a softball tournament

We stayed the entire week and weekend. The house was the very clean and well stocked. My husband and I stayed with our 2 children, but it could have easily accommodated 2 couples and 3 kids. The area was beautiful and peaceful. Our only complaint was an odor in the closets and pantry. It wasn’t enough to really bother us though.

We love the quiet area of Diamondhead and the wonderful quirky and artsy town of Hot Springs and wanted to share the area with others. We are so fortunate to live in such a beautiful part of the world!

What makes this property unique

The quiet cove on Diamondhead provides a Serene atmosphere where cranes, geese, ducks, fox, and deer are ample. Swimming and fishing are sports that many participate in from the dock just steps from the house. Serenity House is located in Diamondhead Community where a swimming pool is available in the summer and golfing throughout the year. Diamondhead is centrally located just minutes from Hot Springs, Garvin Gardens and Malvern (I-30).
