Far from noise and traffic, it benefits from a large enclosed garden with trees, overlooking the ramparts, which will allow you to enjoy a panoramic view of the hilly and luminous landscapes of the Gers and, on a clear day, of the mountain range. snow-covered Pyrenees.
Perfectly integrated into an exceptional heritage complex, it benefits from a calm unanimously highlighted by the tenants.
The gîte: is made up of a main house and an annex (30m on the garden side)
In the main house we find:
On the ground floor
- A very well-equipped 22m² kitchen (Fridge/Freezer, Washing Machine, Dishwasher, Microwave, Oven, Filter and Espresso coffee makers, Kettle…..)
- A 25m² living room with wood stove, two sofas, coffee tables and several armchairs
First floor :
A double staircase provides access on the one hand to a 21m² bedroom equipped with a 140cm bed, a table, dressing room and 90cm bunk beds in an alcove
On the other hand, a bathroom with bathtub, sink and storage unit, separate WC, and a 16m² bedroom equipped with a 160 bed, a table, a wardrobe and a chest of drawers
The very thick stone walls maintain good freshness throughout the summer
In Annex :
On the ground floor
Two 12 m² bedrooms equipped with a double bed (140), with chest of drawers or storage unit
A bathroom with WC, sink and walk-in shower
N.B. one of the bedrooms and the bathroom are accessible to People with Reduced Mobility
Upstairs
A bedroom equipped with two single beds of 90, with storage unit
Thanks to the layout of the two separate accommodations, relative independence for some of the occupants is possible throughout the stay
The cottage can therefore accommodate a maximum of 10 people including 8 adults. Rental of sheets and towels is optional, the end-of-stay cleaning package is obligatory Disposable mattress pads are provided free of charge on request
You will find a tumble dryer in the garage, as well as everything you need to comfortably enjoy the garden: deck chairs, barbecue, parasols, and in the garden two tables, one of which is large, and a swing for children.
The town of Saint-Arailles is located in a Natura 2000 protected area, ideal for numerous walks and hikes (including the Camino de Santiago)
Its location constitutes an excellent starting point for discovering this beautiful region of the Bastides and the valleys of the Gers.
For golf enthusiasts, two 18-hole courses are located 20 minutes from Saint Arailles: Pallanne near Tillac and Embats near Auch
