Perfect spot in Reims
We have stayed in probably 1/2 dozen VRBO apartments in the last few years and have always enjoyed them.
Showing up in a strange city at 11.00 PM at night after flying/traveling for over 30 hours is always a little unnerving when you don’t have the comfort of a 24 hour hotel lobby.
Everything Marie said was spot on and the key pick up was seamless. Her communications were easy and plentiful. She answered every emai in a very timely manner.
Apartment location was about a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral in one direction and 15 minutes to the major Champaign houses in the other.
There is a good sized market across the street and banks and ATM’s right out side the door. There are no real restaurants in the neighborhood. They are one block past the cathedral so figure a 20 minute walk (10 if you walk briskly)
The apartment is darling. Easily accommodate 3 of us. 4 would be fine but more would be pushing it. Two bedrooms, a small living room.
We don’t cook so I can’t comment on the kitchen other to say it was fine for us. A refrigerator and a coffee maker.
Decor is on point with many books and pictures of Reims. It is a 3rd floor walk up so think about that if you are hauling tons of luggage.
