Beautiful beaches, great fishing, and nature at its finest. Hunt’s Treasure is located across San Luis Pass from Galveston Island. It is surrounded by wetlands, Christmas Bay, West Galveston Bay, The Gulf of Mexico and the largest gulf to bay pass on the Texas Coast. Our location provides the best nature environment and some of the finest fishing on the Texas coast.

Hunt’s Treasure is a well maintained 4 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath home located 100 yards from the Gulf of Mexico. It is newly furnished with a fireplace and has a large covered deck that is childproof. When others are stuck in the house on rainy days, you will enjoy sitting on the covered deck. It has excellent gulf and bay views and is approximately 300 yards to a secluded beach for your family enjoyment. You can enjoy some of the finest surf fishing around.

You are a short 20 minute drive to the Galveston seawall and all the incredible adventures and fine dining available in Galveston. These include Moody Gardens, The Strand, 1900 Storm Museum, charter fishing, The Elissa, and Galveston cruise ships to name a few.

Wells stocked property that was a super comfortable space. The loft was perfect for our teenager. Beautiful views and just a short walk to the beach. Great for our family getaway!

A great time!

We had the best time! The Hunts Treasure was perfect for a weekend getaway for my husband’s birthday! Great location with a private beach area for the neighborhood was conveniently located and a short walk! The outdoor shower was perfect to rinse off before going up after a day at the beach. The house was cozy and had everything we needed for our stay! Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

The location was perfect! We loved the open concept of the kitchen and living room, and the bedrooms were all the perfect size for the people in our family. The house had everything you'd need for living and daily activities. We would definitely stay here again and have already told several friends about this house for their future vacation to Treasure Island!

Relaxing Peace and Quiet Beach Trip

The home was beautiful and felt like a home. The beach access is close. Rinsing off option downstairs so you don't have go upstairs sandy and gross is a plus. Our son slept well and my mom enjoyed her room also. The only sad part was leaving to come home!

Nice getaway

My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. It is a clean and well-maintained house, just down the street from the beach. The owners were responsive to my (dumb) questions about the property and surrounding area. We would not hesitate to stay at this property again.

Perfect beach house!

We stayed at the property a couple of weeks ago with my family that was visiting from out of state. We all absolutely loved it. The wrap around porch with it's ocean views was perfect. The beach is very quiet and family friendly. The beach house has everything you need to be comfortable. We will book this house again.

needed exterminator

Really nice place and everything we needed was there..we had a brown recluse spider bite an also there were some roaches. I informed owner an she promised an exterminator .immediateltly. if no bugs it would of been perfect

We take pride in keeping our house in great condition and have never had bug problems before. Our house is exterminated on a regular schedule. Termanix was called and did an inspection, found no spiders but sprayed that same week as a preventive ahead of schedule. They have been back twice since then for inspection and found no problems. Again we take pride in keeping our beach house in great condition. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Felt like home

I have stayed in beach houses since I was a kid! Many years now. This house has everything we need to feel at home. The weather was beautiful. After growing up going to Gilchrist and Caplan across the ferry from Galveston, I now called Treasure Island my favorite beach destination in Texas. We will be back!

Beautiful house in a great location

We stayed at Hunt’s Treasure 5 nights and wish we could have stayed longer. There were seven of us (3 adults and 4 kids) and we had a wonderful time. We fished, swam, walked along the beach picking up shells, and enjoyed sitting on the deck relaxing. My favorite thing about the house was the deck. There were lots of chairs to sit in and even a couple of rocking chairs. Best of all, there was ALWAYS a cool breeze on the deck. I could sit on the deck for hours listening to the waves and looking at the water. The kitchen was stocked with every dish, appliance and utensil we needed. The house is decorated beautifully and everything looks brand new. It was extremely clean and very comfortable to stay in. The house is in the perfect location to get to the beach. It’s a short walk or you can rent a golf cart from K6 (which we did) and drive on the beach, around the neighborhood or even go across the highway. I e-mailed the owner several times before and during our stay and she always responded quickly and was very helpful and friendly answering all of my questions. We had such a great vacation and I hope we can stay there again.

Place of pleasure

A home away home for my family. We have rented this house many times and will continue to do so. It is many things for us, a place to enjoy the porch , the view , the short walk to beach that can be seen from porch, comfortable beds , clean and well kept. We use it for a place to rest and enjoy family time.The owners are wonderful people and the community the house is in is very safe feeling.

This house is perfectly located with a beach view from three sides of the house. There is a wrap around deck where you can sit and relax and view the water from the home. If you go down stairs, the beach is SHORT little walk away. It is not a packed beach like most Galveston beaches, and was very well kept. There is a grill at the house, so we brought our own groceries and never had to leave because everything was there for us. I highly recommend this house. The owners also communicated very well. Overall, we were very satisfied and will be returning next summer.

Great customer service!

I booked this property for my parents and their friends (ages 55+) to spend a relaxing Labor Day weekend on the beach. I had some trouble making payments through the website, but the property owner was very patient and promptly responded back to all my emails. My parents and friends had such a great time and especially loved the view of the sunset/rise over the beach. I will most definitely book this property for them again as well as for my family in the near future!

A Pleasant and Relaxing Beach Experience

I guess I would rate it as "Great", so 4 1/2 stars. We had an absolutely awesome week going with the kids to the beach every single day. It was a truly relaxing experience, as we got the kids to enjoy nature at its best without any video games for an entire week! The best part of the house is without question the deck. It is enormous and the breeze from the ocean and the sound of the waves (day and night) is just amazing and pleasantly relaxing. There were days that we would spend the entire afternoon on the deck while the kids played on the street below or also on the deck. The house is nicely decorated and has anything you would ever need. Specially the kitchen. No need to bring anything. The little neighborhood is also nice and quiet and the only traffic is from people that live in the neighborhood. So kids can easily ride their bikes on the street with no problems. The downstairs open shower is also VERY convenient. Coming from the beach and being able to wash off with warm water prior to going in to the house was definitely a bonus as we would not drag any sand in to the house (I am sure that was the intent of the homeowner!). Getting to a decent restaurant or grocery store can take you at least 20 minutes by car (Galveston or Freeport), but for us it was not a bother since we just wanted to enjoy the house and the beach. We did go in to Galveston one day for additional groceries and took advantage to going to the Fisherman's Wharf for some fresh fish as well as Moody Gardens (nice place!). The only real inconvenience we had was the internet not working, but we think it was a problem with AT&T and not the house router. So we got by with the few needed emails by phone. The other inconvenience was to not have a closed place to leave all the bicycles, scooters, etc and our beach gear downstairs (the garage is locked by the homeowner - understandably). So we would drag it all up to the deck every night or hide it in the outdoor shower. Eventually we got tired of that and would leave some of it downstairs as it seems like a pretty safe place. We are not really in to fishing, but if you are, this beach seems to be a popular spot. Almost every day we would see people fishing right from the beach and catch some big trout! We have already talked about returning next year. And if we do, it will most likely be to this same house.

Loved spending a week in this beautiful house that had all the amenities that anyone could possibly need - enjoyed every minute of our vacation with daughters and son-in-law. Spent many hours on the deck relaxing, playing games and sunbathing. Also, so glad we were close enough to Galveston that we could enjoy Moody Gardens and The Strand...were surprised about the toll bridge, however. Would definitely recommend this property to family & friends.

Spring Break Family Fun!

We had such a FABULOUS time in this awesome house. It is beautifully decorated, plenty of room for the kids and adults to have a good time. The kitchen is stocked and offers everything you need to cook. The dishwasher was a huge savior! The wrap around deck was amazing! We could see beautiful sunsets everynight from the back deck and beautiful sunrises in the front. We could see water on all sides of the house! The renters are very accommodating and the neighbors made us feel welcome as well. Great place for some family fun! Miles and miles of beach to comb! Shells were amazing and overall this place was just FUN.FUN.FUN! We are planning another trip in June! Perfect spot!

My Dream Family Vacation

This house and it's owners was perfect for my family of 8. We have ages 3-21. We spent the week here Monday-Sunday. We were just a very short walk from the beach. We sat on the deck at all hours of the day and night enjoying the view and sounds of the ocean. The house had everything you could need! Movies, books, games -- even first aid. The owners made me feel so secure and were always available. My toddler, loved they Monkey room... she still asks to go see the beach house and monkey room 2 months later. My teens enjoyed the beach at night - crab hunting every night and fishing every day! I would recommend this house and neighborhood for any family or group who wants a vacation on a nice beach that isnt right in the middle of all the tourists and you just want to relax in luxury!

My husband, Doug, was BOI and loves the beach. Being a native Texan growing up in Galveston he spent a lot of time at the beach. He very quickly turned me, Pat, into a beach person shortly after we were married 40 years ago! Being from Arkansas I had not spent lots of time near the ocean, but spend as much time there now as I can! Doug and I chose to build on Treasure Island because we fell in love with the miles and miles of (almost) private beach, small but very well maintained subdivision with quick access to Galveston and Lake Jackson and beautiful surroundings. Hunt's Treasure is truly our treasure. We added lots of extra touches to make this beach house a beach home! Spending time on our great deck with family, friends or each other is just about our favorite thing in the world to do!
