Our stay at L’appartement de Margot was absolutely perfect. This tres chic and impressively designed/furnished apartment was super clean when we arrived and it had everything we needed, including good space, air conditioning, washer/dryer, and a comfortable bed. Coffee and tea were provided along with shampoo, soaps and linens/towels. If you like having washcloth for showering, consider bringing one. Bordeaux is a much larger city than we expected but that is not a bad thing! It feels like a small Paris. Seriously! And, best of all, this apartment is in the center of it all and within easy walks to everything you want to see and do. The closest delicious restaurants are half a block away, as is a grocery market and pharmacy. Clothing shops, cathedrals, more classic French cafes and restaurants are everywhere. The river is maybe a 10 minute walk. Even being at the heart of it all, this apartment is quiet!Benedicte made booking and getting to the apartment easy. Hugo met is at the apartment and helped us in. Both are gracious hosts. We loved that L’appartement de Margo is on the top (4th) floor with a view over nearby rooftops. We also loved the exercise offered by the 90 steps up to (and down from) the apartment…but be advised there is no elevator. If you are planning a trip to Bordeaux, stay here!
We have stayed in many apartments in Bordeaux, Paris, and other areas of France in the past 15 years. This is probably the nicest of all.
The location is superb -- on a very quiet square between two major pedestrian streets, Rue Porte Dijeaux and Cours de l'Intendance. The apartment is extremely spacious, bright, and welcoming. Two large beds and a large dining table make it an ideal location to settle in. The kitchen is modern and extraordinarily large, with everything you need to cook dinners after shopping the Capucins or Chartrons markets.
There are many shops and cafés within very short walking distance, and the tram line is only a block away.
The downside for those with mobility issues is that it is located at the top of a long flight of stairs (old French buildings have high ceilings, so one flight is more like 1.5 to 2).
All in all, we loved our stay there and would VERY gladly return.
Well equipped, convenient location in the old town

One flight of stairs to a roomy comfy apartment.
Conveniently close to grocery’s, lively squares, and the Catherine street shopping. A short easy walk to the tourist info center to pick up a city pass so you can get to all the sites you will want to see.
Our entire experience at this home was perfect! The apartment was very charming and very comfortable. The apartment was perfectly located in the city center, close to many of the popular visiting sites. Transportation access was very close. It was a very safe neighborhood; my husband and I felt very comfortable walking everywhere even in the evenings. Most importantly, our host was/is amazing. Francois kept us always informed, responded quickly to our inquiries and was very friendly. She was very sweet remembering my husband and I were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary, making our stay even more special. We definitely would love to stay in her home again next time we visit Bordeaux...if she lets us :) We highly recommend her place to others as well!
Stayed with 3 friends for one night and we wish we were able to spend more time! Alice was amazing to work with, she always responded quickly and was extremely helpful and accommodating. The apartment had electronic access codes that Alice provided us before our stay which made it super easy to get in and eliminated the stress of having to track down and return keys. She also kept our luggage in a secure room after our checkout so we could spend more time in Bordeaux before we headed to Paris.
The apartment itself was extremely clean and beautifully decorated. the location is amazing, overlooking a lively square with a ton of cafes and restaurants. the only issue we ran into (which was not a big issue at all) was the noise at night coming from the square. However, it was Halloween and a bank holiday the next day, so we hit a noisey-er night then usual.
would definitely stay again!

What's a vacation rental in Saint Pierre like?
Vacation rentals are privately owned properties you can stay in for a long or short time in Saint Pierre. Vacation rentals offer extras such as hot tubs, fire pits, and patios so you'll have all the conveniences of home. If you're concerned about a sanitized environment, vacation rentals can offer a sense of seclusion away from public hotel elevators and busy front desks while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also find more space in a vacation rental than in a traditional hotel, which is another reason why a vacation rental is an attractive choice for a family getaway.
