Coastal Cottage, w/water views and a short walk to uncrowded beach

**NEW AMENITIES & UPDATES FOR 2024**
Cozy coastal cottage in the <3 heart of Surf City. This is a 3 bedroom & 3 bathroom cottage on the sound side in Surf City with beautiful water sunset views in a private setting w/ a short 3 minute walk to the beach!
There are 3 queen beds, 1 set of twin bunk beds for kids and over 700 Sq Ft of outdoor deck space to enjoy watching the sound, waterway, sunsets or traffic going by. The cottage has repeat guest every year!

We are located 1.2 miles from the Surf City traffic circle, Surf City Pier and a .04 miles to Kenneth Batts family park & pier (Swings, basketball court, slide, picnic tables and long viewing pier stretched out into the sound on the ICW).
You can walk to the beach or take a short ride to local restaurants, shopping, entertainment & bars....We are excited to share this gem with all of you to enjoy and relax while visiting Topsail Island.

This cottage sleeps 6 - 8 comfortably.

The main entrance leads to our "front room" with a table that seats 4 & is a great spot for morning coffee or cocktail & card games at night! From there the house opens up into the living room, kitchen with island and dining room. The living room has a full size couch, oversized chair & flat screen TV.

The kitchen is open concept and sits in between the family room & dining room. The Island has 2 barstools & there is an additional raised bar w/ 2 more stools. The 2 guest bedrooms are off of the living space with a full bathroom between them. The master is tucked off the back of the house. It has a private bathroom with a large walk in tile shower, single vanity, walk in closet and VIEWS of the water galore! The slider allows access to the large deck overlooking the salt marsh & waterway right from the bedroom.

Downstairs is the game room with flat screen TV and day bed, a 3rd full bathroom with walkin shower and access to the patio area & yard.

*Bed linens (sheets) are not provided however if you don't feel like packing them please contact Sweet Dreams Linen Service on the island!
(Beds all come with comforters & pillows. The kitchen & bathrooms are stocked with sponges & all towels). Don't forget to pack your beach towels.

We reserve 1 parking space on the far left of the driveway for ourselves to use during the summer months. Surf City beach access is paid parking.

Loved Topsail and this cottage!

Renee was a wonderful host and made us feel very at home in her beautiful cottage. The sunset views were stunning and it was a very short walk to the beach. We are definitely coming back!

Honeymoon

We had a relaxing time and loved the town of surf city. We loved the short walk to the ocean. We have both been to topsail before so it was fun to go back and visit our favorite shops.

Perfect getaway!

My husband and I decided to spend our anniversary seeing the ocean as we live in Indiana and have never seen it. After the 13hr drive, we were so relieved to see that we could park on the property and walk literally 3 minutes to the beach. The property itself was very clean and had AMAZING views! We were also only a few minutes drive to restaurants and other local shops. The owner was very kind and easy to communicate with.

Cute clean cottage

We enjoyed the cottage with beautiful views of the sound/marsh area with lots of wildlife to watch! There was a very short walk to the beach. The beach was lovely. We enjoyed the pier and watching the surfers nearby. The kitchen had very basic supplies and could have used more quantities of cups and mugs. There is no pantry. The listing mentions beach chairs but there were only a few and next time I would bring my own. There are no linens so be sure to pack those. Overall we had a wonderful time with memories forever made.

Cute Beach House

We enjoyed Thanksgiving at this cute but spacious beach house. The view out the back slider was awesome. It was a short walk to the beach and just down the street from restaurants and shops.

Surprise Beach Cottage

We had a great stay! Host was welcoming and property was beautifully maintained and well equipped. It’s in the sound side of the island and has beautiful views. It’s a quick walk to the beach on this narrow island. A short bike or car ride to excellent take out. The road the house is on is your typical busy beach thruway. Not far from a beautiful park with a walkway out over the salt marsh (and a playground).

Great stay!!!!

Excellent location, within minutes of anything you need. A few minutes walk to the beach, a go stroll or bike ride (a mile or so) to get a bite to eat, a nice bike ride south to Topsail Beach. The house was spacious for the 6 of us, the kitchen was stocked enough to prepare meals to eat in most nights. The downstairs area was nice and it also had a 3rd bathroom which came in handy. My wife enjoyed the sunsets from the back deck. The ONLY suggestion I would have is to have electrical outlets near the head of the bed in the master bedroom. Weren't able to use CPAP machine during the stay but it wasn't a big deal. Thanks for providing the accommodations.

Beautiful Inside and Out

We truly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, welcoming and allowed for our family to spend quality time together while still providing plenty of room for one to have their own space. We loved the view off the back porch and appreciated the short walk to the beach.
