About this property

Stone house by the river in an authentic listed village

Located beside the River the house is large and has a nice Provence style. Made of local stones it is a large medieval house with all modern comfort. The large swimming pool is perfect for a swim. It can be protected by a removable fence upon request, perfect for young children. It is also very nice to swim in the river! Crossing a small communal path there is a large private garden leading to the river. There are large trees that can provide shadow to park your cars.

Montclus is classified as one of most beautiful villages of France. The character of its stoned houses, harmony of tiled roof and small streets too small for cars is a real promise of calm holidays.

amazing experience in a Medieval village

Our group of twelve could not have been happier with our stay at this unique house. The house blends into the old village, with tiny stone streets out one door, and the field down to the river out the other. There is an outdoor eating area between stone walls, and the pool was well used. We enjoyed our meal at the one restaurant in town, visited the market on Tuesday, and then had day trips around the region. We dream of being able to come back again.
