The atmosphere is that of a village. Many shops at your disposal, cafes, restaurants. 5 minutes walk from the Castle, you can visit the gardens, the Park etc
You are also very close to transport to Paris.
By RER C, 5 minutes walk, you will reach Paris Center (Champ de Mars, Ile de la Cité ....)
By the Versailles station in Chantiers located 10 minutes walk, you will be transport 13 minutes from Paris.
