Lovely gite. Sat out on the terrace and watched lizards, thrushes, flycatchers and butterflies in...
It is such a lovely little gite. We really enjoyed our stay here. Unfortunately we didn't get to meet the owner as we had a text from her to say she didn't meet us as she couldn't speak English so any queries would be better sent to poplidays. It is an ancient old watermill and the mill race is still there so the sound of running water was an enjoyable extra. Whilst the gite was great the description of the facilities on the website is inaccurate. There is parking in front of the gite, although in tge description it said 'No parking' and the bed was already made up so we didn't need the bedlinen we brought from England. Although it stated that we needed to bring our own bedlinen and towels. Bring your own towels though as they are not included. The list of the facilities omitted the fact that there is an iron, and a hairdryer and this too needs to be amended as we brought our own which wasn't necessary. There is even an ironing board there. I will be writing to Poplidays to ask them to amend the list of facilities. That apart this is no reflection on the gite as it is a lovely place to stay and we would happily stay there again. One thing I would ask the owner though would be please could you give some details of the history of this ancient mill in the information book in the gite, that is if you have any information about it?
