The Manoir de Saint Brendan is a large family home nestling in the heart of a totally private estate on the Pointe du Blair in Baden (Morbihan).
The Manoir is an unforgettable place with an exceptional 180* view over the Gulf of Morbihan. It is located in a Natura 2000 listed site, in a nature reserve where more than one ... species of birds live together, as well as a totally preserved fauna and flora.
You'll be seduced by the soothing calm of the site, and amazed by the sunrises over the water that you can contemplate from most rooms in the house.
Set in grounds of over 5,000 m², this home welcomes its guests as if they were distinguished guests, with warmth and elegance. Gathered around its large fireplace, standing around the pool table or sitting and contemplating the view in the wood-panelled dining room, you'll feel at home here, just like in a family home.
The Manoir has 9 bedrooms with a total of 12 beds, making it easy to accommodate 15 people. It is ideally suited to accommodating several families with children or groups of friends, as there are two small, adjoining, independent two-bedroom buildings.
Situated on the water's edge, this family-run property is a rare rental opportunity that will provide an exceptional holiday for all lovers of the Gulf of Morbihan and nature.
The house, measuring around 300 m², offers a comfortable layout:
On the ground floor, you'll find an entrance hall, a fully equipped laundry room, a family kitchen, equipped with everything needed for discerning cooks to make delicious meals.
The spacious dining room offers breathtaking sea views. The large lounge is an invitation to travel, with a pool table, a TV area with DVD player and a large stone fireplace. The wood-burning stove is located just outside, making for large, convivial flambées.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the house, as are Bluetooth speakers.

In the main house,
On the ground floor, a large bedroom with 2 double beds, or one king-size bed, with an office area with sea views, and a large shower room with a very large walk-in shower attached.
First floor:
A bedroom with 2 single beds with a small adjoining bedroom with a single bed, a large bathroom with a bath and WC
A bedroom with a double bed, en-suite bathroom with WC, shower and bath
An attic library with a reading chair at the top of the tower, accessible to all, housing hundreds of books for young and old alike
A double attic bedroom for two children or juniors (2 beds 180x90 cm) with private WC, shower and washbasin.
In the Suite Bleue, a small adjoining building, a duplex suite with a large bedroom with 2 beds and kitchenette, and a double bedroom upstairs with bathroom and separate WC.
In the Zen Suite, a double bedroom and a large study on the ground floor, with separate toilet and small bathroom. Upstairs, a double bedroom with sloping ceilings and a small meditation oratory with cupola and stained glass windows.
The large terrace is unobstructed and not overlooked. It faces south-east and is equipped with several outdoor tables, a corner sofa and plenty of comfortable seating to enjoy the sun and the view.
Around the house you'll find a vast lawn and large trees for children to play in. This sheltered wooded area will delight all young explorers in search of adventure.
A range of leisure facilities awaits them too, including a table tennis table, badminton rackets, a Molkky and petanque game, a kayak and plenty of board games.
A small beach is located below the house, accessible by a private staircase. You will also have access to the boarding pontoon in the estate's private slipway, and to the larger beach 3' away on foot.
You can also take advantage of a mooring for your boat, on request. Located just in front of the house, you can watch over your boat from the garden and the house.
A car is recommended for exploring the area. Manoir ST Brendan is just a short drive from the village of Baden, with its morning fish market and Friday afternoon market, 20 minutes from Vannes and Auray, and around 30 minutes from Carnac or La Trinité sur Mer.
Numerous water sports activities and boat hire are also available in Arradon, a 15-minute drive away.
You will be welcomed by our concierge team, who will show you around the house and its surroundings. Games and equipment are available to entertain young and old. Please ensure that the house is kept clean and tidy during your stay.
To enable us to prepare the Manoir for subsequent guests, a high-quality end-of-stay cleaning service is included in the booking.
However, this end-of-stay cleaning does not include :
- cleaning the griddle, barbecue, electric and microwave ovens and fridge
- putting away clean crockery in the kitchen cupboards (dishwasher emptied),
- putting back the furniture and equipment we have left at your disposal.
We hope that you will be happy in this exceptional Manor House, and we are counting on you to ensure that, as with any large house, the premises and equipment are regularly maintained during your stay.
If you do not have the time or inclination to follow these instructions, we will unfortunately be obliged to deduct a sum from your security deposit. This will be claimed as a guarantee of your good use of this quite exceptional waterside house, from which guests often find it very difficult to leave.
