Our room was a very clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable which is something we always worry about. The property was in a great location for all of our activities.

Grand Lodge condominiums are part of a larger complex consisting of several other condo buildings, a hotel, and an activity center that supports summer and winter outdoor activities at Mt Crested Butte. We were in the area for a wedding, so condo #555 was just a place to sleep at the end of the day, but everything was clean and the room was very relaxing place to stay. Communications with the owner, Matt, was all done online and he did a great job of letting us know everything that was needed for a great weekend stay. Overall, I was very happy with the room, the reservation process, and our online communications with Matt. I was happy that I didn't have to call or email Matt the entire weekend. My only negatives pertained to the property and they're not really negatives if your plan accordingly. Parking is free but the lots are almost always full. We parked in a nearby overflow lot and had to walk everything to and from the car to the building. Not a big deal if you only have a couple of bags like we did, but if you have a lot of gear for outdoor activities it could be an inconvenience. During our stay only one elevator worked. Our condo was on the top (5th) floor, so getting to and from the room took time while waiting on the elevator with all the other guests. While these issues didn't impact our stay at the Grand Lodge, or on how much we loved the area, it is something you need to be prepared for given how many guests are consolidated into a central location.

Great Stay

The property was great. The description was right on. We really enjoyed the location and the property itself. Everything you could ask for was right there in place. I seem to rate stays by the shower! This is a five star place!!

Convenient

Convenient place to stay, love the free parking and pool. Close to trails and right next to transit center. Walking distance to a couple restaurants if you don’t want to go to town.

Virtual check in was seamless and you can't beat the location of being right at the ski resort! It was awesome being on the top floor for mountain views and the doors separating the bedroom from the living space was convenient. The only appliance missing was an oven, but we used the stovetop, toaster, and microwave for meals. The free shuttle to town picks you up and drops you off right across from the hotel (we could see it from our room which made it easy to time the 15 minute schedule accordingly) so that's another added bonus! The pool and hot tub were nice after a long day of skiing and winter activities as well. Overall, we had an awesome Christmas in Crested Butte!

Great location! Nice to have ski storage on mountain. Easy walk to the lifts. Lack of good dining options around the ski mountain in general. Would have loved a toaster in our unit. Otherwise great!! Good bed, shower, plenty of room and storage!

Clean, convenient and cozy

The unit was perfect for our family of four. Loved that the bedroom was separate and there was plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was well appointed, beds were comfortable, even the pull out. Our only issue was lack of towels. There were only 4 provided and no room service to refresh them for the 3 days we were there.
